I share my home with a wonderfully chatty, smaller-sized Siberian Husky named Fuschia. She loves to "talk," but she is trained, incredibly friendly, gentle, and absolutely adores playing with new furry friends. Other than being a chatty Cathy, Fuschia is the anti-husky- preferring to sleep and chill than having high energy. Whether your dog wants a playmate or just a buddy to lounge near, my husky is an excellent, welcoming host. I work from home full-time with a flexible schedule, meaning your pet will rarely be alone and will receive frequent potty breaks, supervised playtime, and all the affection they can handle. ------------------------------ 🩺 Experience & Special Skills I'm a lifelong pet lover who has owned or taken care of pets since childhood. I've owned tiny dogs (chihuhuas and terrier mixes), a large wild dog that needed extensive training (a wolf-husky hybrid), birds, a rabbit, and have helped friends take care of their exotic animals (snakes and lizards). I’ve been dog sitting for approximately ten (10) years. I have enjoyed sitting small dogs to giant doodles (who believe they are small lap dogs) as well as elderly and special needs dogs. I’m a true animal lover and offer comprehensive care tailored to your pet's specific life stage and health requirements: * From Puppies to Seniors: I understand the patience and frequent training breaks required for tiny puppies, as well as the gentle pacing, orthopedic comfort, and slow walks needed for elderly dogs. * Medical & Sick Dog Care: If your dog requires special medical attention, you can rest easy. I am highly experienced in administering oral and topical medications, managing strict dosing schedules, feeding according to strict dietary needs, and providing a calm, stress-free environment for dogs. * Small Animal Expertise (Birds & Rabbits): I don’t just care for dogs! As a prior bird and rabbit owner, I am fully experienced in handling, feeding, cage or pen cleaning, and understanding the unique requirements of rabbits and birds. ------------------------------ 🏡 My Home & Safety Setup Your pet’s safety and peace of mind are my absolute top priorities. * Dog Play Areas: Dogs have plenty of room to stretch their legs, curl up on a couch, and run around and play inside the house and in my secure fenced in yard. When they play with my husky they will be always be supervised. *Sleeping: When it’s time to sleep your dog will sleep in a crate inside the house to ensure they are safe and secure while they are resting. * Sanitation & Routines: I’ll adhere to your feeding schedules. I’ll take your dog for a walk and can bathe them if requested. ** Separate, Stress-Free Zone for small animal friends: To ensure a calm and secure environment, all guest birds and rabbits are kept in a completely separate room away from any dogs in the house. They will enjoy a quiet, predator-free space where they can feel safe and be nurtured.
