On a typical day, I structure my routine around the dogs in my care,this includes morning walks, regular potty breaks, playtime, feeding schedules, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. I also make time for enrichment activities like interactive play, calm bonding time, and simply keeping them comfortable and relaxed. Throughout the week, I maintain consistency so dogs feel secure and settled. Their routine becomes part of my routine,not an “add-on,” but a priority woven into my day. Because I’m home, I’m able to respond quickly to their needs, whether that’s extra potty breaks, attention, or just being present so they don’t feel alone. My focus is always to make sure they feel safe, loved, and at ease while their owners are away.

For more relaxed or senior dogs, I focus on gentle companionship, belly rubs, calm bonding time, and keeping them comfortable and stress free. I also enjoy simple “goofing around” moments talking to them, giving them attention, and letting them feel included in daily life so they don’t feel lonely while their owners are away. Every activity is tailored to the dog’s energy level, comfort, and routine. My goal is always to keep them active, happy, and emotionally at ease while making them feel safe and loved.

We absolutely love MariaJose!!! She was amazing with our rescue, Pennie. Pennie has separation anxiety and Maria seemed to know exactly what she needed. She instills a lot of confidence with her knowledge of dogs and positive, good energy that our dog really responded to. Maria is awesome! She and her family treated our pup like she is own of their own. She sent pictures and texts assuring us that our girl was doing good. It made our vacation that much better knowing that we could rest easy because our pup was well taken care of. Definitely will be having her watch Rosie again on our next vacation.
Maria was wonderful! She took very good care of our Suzy while we were on vacation. She even sent some pictures. Way less stress on the dog than using a kennel. We will absolutely use her services again?
