When caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I always focus on providing a safe, loving, and stress-free environment. I follow all instructions given by the owner closely, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise needs, medications, and any special routines. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection, while also respecting their comfort levels and personalities. During drop-in visits and house sitting, I ensure pets are fed on time, walked or let out for bathroom breaks, and given enrichment through play, mental stimulation, and companionship. I keep their living area clean by refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes or picking up waste, and maintaining a tidy space. I also provide regular updates with photos and messages so owners feel confident and at ease while they’re away. For walks, I prioritize safety by using secure leashes and harnesses, paying close attention to the environment, and adjusting the walk based on the pet’s energy level, age, and weather conditions. Above all, I treat every pet as if they were my own and aim to make their time with me feel fun, comfortable, and full of care.
