Hi my name is Mariah! I have cared for animals since I was a very young child. I love animals. I am passionate about their welfare and and have worked at the animal shelter for over 2 years. I know how to communicate with animals in a special way (better than I can with people) & am very receptive to their individual needs and personalities . I can adapt to special needs animals such as those with high anxiety, vision, hearing loss or specific medication regimes or dietary needs. I am a dog person but I love all animals! I don't discriminate based on breed. That being said, while I am comfortable house sitting and walking any breed, I am not comfortable walking extra large dogs unless very well trained on a leash (non-dog reactive, etc.). Mariah is amazing with our pup! It’s nice to know that everything is great at home no matter where we are traveling. Mariah keeps us informed, sends pictures and keeps up our routines better than we do.
We loved having Mariah watch our dogs! She was responsive, caring, and sent us tons of photos (which we loved). We felt confident and comfortable knowing that our dogs were in the best hands. We will absolutely book her again for our next trip!
Mariah is wonderful with our 11+ year old and 4 month old golden retrievers. She understands their different needs and gives both of them first class care with walks, playtime and snuggles. We will definitely request Mariah for our next trip.
Mariah did a great job looking after Rosie in our home. We came home to a healthy, happy and calm pup. From start to finish, Mariah is a perfect match with our household.
Mariah went above and beyond to ensure our pups were taken care for and loved while we went away. We are new to Rover and were nervous about the process. Mariah walked us through everything and communicated clearly and regularly! She sent pictures everyday and videos, as well as gave many updates throughout the day. I highly recommend Mariah for all your pet sitting needs. We will definitely be using her again!!
Mariah did an amazing job of keeping our sweet Stella safe and happy, and she also cared so well for our chickens and geese! We really appreciated all the texts and pictures throughout our trip. It’s so good to know our animals have someone they feel comfortable with to care for them when we are away!

Schedule
I am free overnight, most weekdays, and holidays for pet sitting . I would appreciate at least 2 days notice before making any commitments . I also offer in-house sitting

I have two dogs, a cat and a catfish. My dogs are special needs and do not get along well with dogs so I will not be able to sit for your animals at my home unfortunately.

I love to go for hikes so I would be happy to take your dog or pets for a walk along a trail if there are any in your area. Or a walk in the surrounding neighborhood works great too.
