I always ensure your pet is secured to the leash before going out, and I like to take treats, doggie bags, and, if your dog isn’t dog-friendly, a dog deterrent (for unexpected off-leash dogs), with me on each walk. Depending on your dog’s needs, I can tailor walks to get the most out of each visit!

I’d like to know if your pet has any special behaviors or is aloof to new people to start. Some dogs have specific behaviors, so I like to know as much as I can before visiting- the more, the better!
A typical day
Ensuring a dog is fulfilled both physically and mentally is my top priority! I like to mix both when dropping in to care for a dog, which could look like teaching a new trick, asking for tasks between fetch throws, or going for a walk and then going through some commands.

Pet care experience
Dogs and animals have been a part of my life since I was little, and I’d love to take care of yours! My experience includes raising and fostering dogs and volunteering at my hometown dog shelter for over 6 years. Thanks to my experience, I’m comfortable handling dogs of any size or breed and take pride in ensuring each pet is safe, happy, and well taken care of. I’m incredibly active and would love to take your pet on a walk or run, or play fetch (all with the Georgia heat allowing, of course!).

Mariah has always had a special place in her heart for animals. She had a very special bond with her sidekick "Buddy" who was her Golden Retriever growing up. She was always on the lookout for any lost animals that she could help reunited with owners, and loved to rescue any injured critters outside. She spends numerous hours each week volunteering at our local animal shelter, and has been a foster sister to several dogs. I know she would care for and love your pets just as she does her own!
Mariah is always gentle and loving towards animals! She cares for other dogs like her own. She's responsible and has had many years of experience working with dogs. I highly recommend Mariah as a sitter, she will not let you down!
