I grew up surrounded by animals, which is where my passion for four-legged friends began. In college, I studied Animal/Wildlife Science where I took classes like animal behavior, animal disease and animal nutrition to become well versed in animal husbandry. I worked as a kennel technician at an animal shelter as well as a doggy daycare where I was directly involved in the handling, cleaning, enrichment, and vetting of upwards of 50 dogs daily.
