Have peace of mind that your fur friends will be pampered and loved like one of my own, in the comfort of their own home! With 20 years of personal experience, and 6 years working professionally with dogs, I will provide excellent care for your pets. As a previous dog groomer, I am comfortable with the young, old, small and large, cats included. I also offer in home nails trims during the stay. I've always loved animals of all kinds, with pets including dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, and reptiles! I have personal experience with caring for my own senior dog, and reactive dog. Tell me about all the quirks you've learned to give your pet the best life! Animals are my calling and my passion. I was lucky enough to work with dogs every day as a dog groomer and doggie day care attendant for years. But now that I've changed careers there is more love to share with your four legged friends! I'd love to chat with you and meet my future snuggle buddies!

Mariah was absolutely amazing, and I would trust her again in a heartbeat. I’ll start by saying I’m very particular about who I trust with my dog, Seeka—and she is not an easy one. She’s high-maintenance, on a strict diet, and takes multiple medications that have to be given exactly as directed (no shortcuts). Mariah handled everything perfectly. She was attentive, detail-oriented, and clearly took the responsibility seriously, which gave me so much peace of mind. Her communication was top-notch. She sent thoughtful updates and great photos, and it was so clear Seeka was happy, comfortable, and in really good hands the entire time. We also had some travel hiccups and Mariah completely stepped up without hesitation to make sure Seeka was cared for (and that I was calm!) which I can’t even put in to words how much this meant to us. On top of that, we came home to a house that looked exactly how we left it. It’s such a good feeling knowing someone is not only taking amazing care of your dog, but also treating your home with the same level of respect. Mariah is reliable, thoughtful, and just genuinely wonderful. I truly can’t recommend her enough
This was the first time ever leaving our 10 yr old dog for vacation. I was a little worried how stressed she would be but when we got home after 8 days she was so calm & relaxed. We got regular updates with photos. Communication was easy and Mariah was quick to respond. Bonus! Mariah used to be a groomer so she even cut her nails which is not an easy thing to do! My house was left spotless and my bedding was washed and changed! I will be recommending her to friends and will definitely use her again.
Mariah looked after our cat and dog while we were away for 2 weeks. She does an excellent job of caring for our pets and house sitting. Her photos of our pets that she sent to us are also excellent! We've hired her twice now and she'll be our go to for any future trips we have.
Mariah was loved by my girls! Very communicative, attentive and a pleasure to work with. The girls and I look forward to working with Mariah again soon.
I have known Mariah for her whole life and she has always had pets of different species. I know she is responsible and can handle any type of dog breeds because of her years of experience as a dog groomer and daycare attendant. I myself have been a veterinary assistant for over 10 years and always trust her to look after my pets when I’m away, and would also recommend her to any of my clients. I know she treats all animals with respect and would care for other people’s pets as her own.
Mariah is a natural with Dogs and cats. She loves all breeds and they are drawn to her, perhaps due to her calm, quiet demeanor. Growing up with pets, Mariah is experienced and knowledgeable with their needs and has always kept a Dog and cat of her own. Having adopted a rescue dog herself, gaining their trust with patience and kindness, winning them over with positive reinforcement, and successfully obedience trained, I have no doubt of Mariahs' abilities and commitment to pet care. Schedule
If my calendar is marked unavailble for part of your stay, please request anyway and I will see if I can fit you in on case by case basis. I work on the north end of Winnipeg. My office hours are Monday-Friday, 8-4:30. Your pets will need to be ok alone at home for this time.
