I am currently off for the summer (teacher) and have almost every weekday completely free. I'm good about scheduling and organizing my time. When school starts back up, availability would change.

Safety is my number one priority. I am very aware of body language in animals, and would never force an uncomfortable situation onto a pet. I would go at the animal's pace to make sure it's as pleasant of a visit as possible.

Pet care experience
I always grew up with at least 1 dog. Ray wasn't the friendliest, so I got a quick introduction to being careful with walks and strangers. Kalie was friendlier, but also liked her independence. She was the first dog I was actually able to "train". After I moved out, my parents got Sammie and Thurman, and I've been able to teach them a few tricks when I visit.
Reviews
Mariah is the most caring person I know. She loves animals. Her face lights up whenever she sees a dog walk by. When she visits her parents, the first thing she looks forward to is seeing and playing with their dogs Sammie and Thurman. It has never mattered the size or shape of the dog, she loves all of them equally. She gets emotional thinking about all animals because she always wants them to be loved and cared for.
Mariah has always loved animals and animals have always gravitated to her. She has been a pet owner since she was 2 and a responsible pet owner since she was 12. We have owned 4 dogs, a hamster, three lizards and an Umbrella Cockatoo throughout her life living with us. Mariah would step in even as a young child in the caring of our numerous pets. As a teenager she would care for our animals when we were away. Now that we live a good distance from one another, Mariah and her husband will come to our home to care for our current pets, 2 dogs and a lizard. We trust her implicitly with the care of our animals. Mariah has a lot of patience when dealing with our 2 hyper dogs as well as her Middle School students. She shows a lot compassion and caring but can be firm when needed.
