Quiet home, enrichment masterminds!
From electric trike jogs, frozen treats, to more than ten scents to give mental stimulation or the basics of tracking, your dog will have a variety of enrichment opportunities devised by a service dog owner-trainer and former police horse caretaker! (Let me know your dogs' allergies and feeding preferences.) While finishing my B.S. in Criminal Justice at UCF, I cared for up to 8 police horses alone in strict rotation schedules. I prepared to work in a K-9 unit, observing bomb detection training from FLETC Lackland, TX. Military life has taken my husband and I all over. I have experience handling females in heat, injecting medication, giving pills, and grooming double coated curly breeds such as Bichons or poodles. I would be happy to help desensitize your dog to nail trims, or one basic etiquette task per visit on request at no charge.

Mariah rehabilitated a territorial puppy mill dog for six years, turned that dog into a great family pet with kids. Any rescue that got dumped on her doorstep, she took on no problem.
Mariah has cared for all kinds of dogs for more than 12 years! She's loved dogs as small as teacup poodles and as big as great danes. Aggressive dogs were handled with great care and confidence, she even trained a service dog for a veteran and a duck hunting dog for another veteran.

I am at home most of the week on virtual classes, animal research literature, and working on a video series to help owners train their own dogs to help around the house.

- Please let me know what equipment your dog is accustomed to and whether there are any equipment you disagree with using (prongs, slip leads, harnesses). Please let me know which enrichment activities you would like, and what speed/distance you feel is safe for your dog to exercise at. If you don't want the etrike to be used, please say so.
