Mariah treats every animal as if they are the most precious thing on earth. She is kind, compassionate and always uses safety as a guiding principle. I would 100% recommend this joyous young lady to be apart of your dog’s amazing little world.

Schedule

I am a first-year medical student for OU, but I have a relatively flexible schedule, with studying being done anywhere! I wake up early to make sure potty time is given along with walks and afternoons are usually spent at playing in the backyard. I am usually around of weekends!

Safety, trust & environment

In my home, pets enjoy a spacious, pet-friendly home with plenty of room to relax and a large, fenced in backyard with ample play area. I live near several dog parks and open spaces, perfect for playtime and walks. For grooming needs, I have access to a dog bath, a dog grooming vacuum with brush and clipper attachments, and I can safely crate pets in my XL crate if needed during the day. If I’m caring for pets in your home, I’ll ensure your house stays in perfect condition. I treat your home with the utmost respect and focus on making sure your pet is happy, comfortable, and well cared for in their familiar environment.

A typical day

Your dog's day a few excited zoomies and a potty break right away. From there, I like to match the pace to what the dog needs: a brisk walk or jog to burn off morning energy, followed by some structured playtime (fetch, tug, or just chasing a ball around the yard). When I can get back midday, I try for a mix of mental and physical stimulation like a walk through the neighborhood with plenty of sniff breaks (dogs experience the world through their nose, so I never rush this part), plus some basic obedience refreshers or a puzzle toy if they're the type who likes a challenge. In the evenings we try slow down a bit, so lots cuddle time, belly rubs, and downtime on the couch if that's their style, or another round of yard play if they've still got energy to spare. I always keep fresh water available and stick closely to feeding schedules and any medication routines you provide. Before bed, it's one more potty break, a calm wind-down period, and a final check that everything's set for the night.

Before we get started, I'll ask for a few key details so I can give your dog the best care possible: feeding schedule and any dietary restrictions or allergies, current medications and dosing times, mobility limitations or health conditions I should be mindful of, and any anxiety triggers, fears, or leash reactivity. I also want to know their socialization comfort level, as some dogs love the dog park and meeting new friends, while others do best sticking to quiet walks and familiar routines, and I'm happy to adjust to whatever keeps them comfortable. The more I know upfront, the more I can tailor playtime, walks, and downtime to fit your dog specifically rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
