Hi! I'm Mariah, a stay-at-home mom, former veterinary technician, and lifelong animal lover with nearly 20 years of pet care experience. I grew up around animals and spent 10 years working on a farm, caring for everything from cats and dogs to horses, goats, and livestock. After that, I worked for 3 years as a veterinary technician in a busy animal hospital, where I gained experience handling pets of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs. I currently live in Hinckley with my husband and two daughters. Although we don't currently have any of our own pets, caring for animals has always been a big part of my daily life. Whether your pet needs a midday potty break, an evening walk, medication, extra playtime, or simply a friendly face while you're away, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I understand that every animal is different, and I take the time to learn their routines, personalities, and preferences so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're gone. **If you have a cat, please be sure to click my cat rate and not the puppy rate. For drop-in visits, I focus on maintaining your pet's normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. Depending on your pet's needs, visits may include feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication administration, litter box cleaning, basic grooming, and lots of attention and affection. I always provide updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away.

Mariah came over while we were away to give our large dogs some much-needed energetic walks. They were very happy to get out of the house and we were happy to know they were getting the exercise they deserve. Mariah also communicated with us after each walk sharing very detailed information about the distance, location and what our pets did while they were out.
If I could give Mariah 10 stars I would! She’s amazing! We have a Bengal cat which is one of the craziest cat breads out there. Lilo can be a lot to handle as well as very needy. Mariah did an amazing job handling our crazy girl! She sent pictures and kept me updated all the time. I will only use her from now on and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for an animal sitter! She's one of the best in Austin!
Mariah was outstanding in every respect. It was our first time entrusting our pups to a sitter, and she was just what we were hoping for.

As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to incorporate pet care naturally into my daily routine. My family spends a lot of time outdoors walking, hiking, and exploring local parks, and caring for animals has always been part of my life. I enjoy being active and love spending time with pets, whether that means a neighborhood walk, a drop-in visit, playtime in the yard, or simply keeping them company while their owners are away.
