I grew up in a house full of pets and have consequently loved animals since childhood. I have raised dogs and cats of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I have over 5 years of professional experience in caring for dogs and cats. My professional skill set includes: walking, feeding, administering medication, agility play, light grooming, and light obedience training. I love to walk and play with all dogs, from giant, hyper rough-play babies to tiny, passive cuddlebugs. During the day I work for the department of health, and my previous career was in teaching special education. I have passed rigorous background checks and can provide these upon request.

Safety, trust & environment
I will always ensure to respect you and your fur baby’s needs. I will take my time to get to know your baby and ensure they feel safe and comfortable. I will also use any needed or provided equipment (e.g. harness, prong collar, gentle leader, slip lead) and ensure your fur baby is secure during any outings. I will send pictures for each service. If I stay in your home, I will be sure to respect your belongings and tidy up after myself.
Ratings and reviews
Mariah was great with our boy! She sent so many cute photos and was super flexible with our change in travel plans. She also was so good at making sure he takes his medicine. Definitely will be booking with her again!
She did a great job looking after our dog Cooky while we were away from home for a long weekend! She sent plenty of pictures and updates and was very easy and professional to communicate with. We will definitely use her again in the future!

Schedule
I work for the health department Mon, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8 to 4 and Friday from 10 to 3. I can provide animal care before and after my work hours, and anytime on Wednesdays or weekends. I can also make slight accommodations given enough notice. I meticulously update my calendar to make sure I am communicating my schedule with my clients!
