A typical day
I love to help your pets stay active and believe that daily enrichment is a must. We’ll play, practice training, go to the dog park, take tons of pictures (that I’ll send of course!) and they’ll get plenty of love! Brushing dogs is therapeutic for me but tends to be work for many. I would LOVE to brush your furry guy or gal while we hang out too! Of course lots of snuggles involved too for the cuddly ones.

I bring 5 years of professional pet-sitting experience - I took a break to start a business but my passion for this industry brings me right back to doing what I love here on Rover. I grew up in a multi-pet household caring for dogs, cats, birds, and exotics. I also have six years of hands-on experience as a Humane Society volunteer, plus years of sitting for friends and family prior to my professional experience. I currently share my home with two active dogs and two sweet cats, which allows me to stay practiced for playtime or walks. Because I live right in town, I know all the local parks and can easily accommodate short-notice requests. Before any house sitting booking, I request a quick 5-10 minute tour of your home. This helps me meet your dog in a relaxed setting, map out a custom care plan, and write down your specific instructions so everything runs seamlessly while you are away!

Mariah did an amazing job pet sitting for us while both my husband and I traveled on business. She was communicative and very kind to our pets. They instantly took a liking to her. I was very relieved to know they were in good care and not stuck in boarding facilities. She also left our home clean after the stay, even washing the sheets she slept on (which was not expected!) We truly appreciated her services and will utilize her in the future!

Mariah took such great care of our two dogs! One of them needed extra care due to an injury that happened the day before we left and she went above and beyond for him. She sent really great updates and really seemed to care about them. Highly recommend her!
