I have looked after family pets - dogs, cats, horses, a parrot & a rabbit for over 30 years but would love to help others as well. I love walking and am happy to take dogs for a long walk. I love cats as well, I would be happy to keep them company for a while, administer medication & feed them. I would also be happy to stay overnight if necessary.

Maria looked after our two dogs, parrot and kept an eye on our two horses, whilst we went away to Madeira. Our first overseas break in 8 years! One of our dogs was on medication and Maria had no problem successfully administering the tablets. Every day the dogs were walked and I think she walked somewhere different every day. We were sent a picture everyday of where she was out walking with the dogs and we had to guess the location. Maria ensured she had notes about everything and any special requirements were highlighted and discussed before we departed. We felt very confident and comfortable with her living in our house, whilst we were away and would highly recommend her.
Maria is a fantastic dog sitter. She completely understood how to interact with my dog who was very anxious, and was able to keep him calm the whole time she was there. She stayed at my house overnight and was a perfect guest - She respected my property and treated it like she would her own house. I would very much recommend Maria for dogsitting- you wont be disappointed and you can rest easy knowing she's taking good care of your furry friend.

I have recently retired from my teaching job (food technology) so I'm now available day & night to care for your pets or to walk your dogs.

I have a very safe bungalow, the garden is fenced securely in which I can look after your dogs and plenty of room inside if the weather is bad.
A typical day
I love playing ball with dogs and will ensure that you dog has 2 walks per day in different environments. I think that this is essential for your dogs well-being.
