Hello There! A little about me: I am a Marketing professional and traveler. Happily married and currently living in this amazing city: Amsterdam. I fall in love with every single animal I see. I have always had pets along my life but since I started travelling in 2017, my lifestyle did not allow me to have my own dog and helping others with their pets somehow fills that part of my life. I have experience taking care of dogs and cats in Australia, Canada, Chile and The Netherlands, also as a house sitter. I recently lived in Toronto with my husband where we took care of over 15 dogs, building a trustworhty relation with our furry recurrent customers and their owners. I got a lot of experience in dog walking and boarding services, giving them a lot of care and love. Also in Chile, I volunteered in a shelter (IG: sonrisa_animal_chile), being the foster home to many dogs while they waited to be adopted in Covid times. It was a beautiful experience. Now in Amsterdam, I would love to help you and match with your beloved pets! I am currently adapting my schedules with a part time job, so I have a lot time to spend playing with your pets and taking care of them. I can also take care of your pets from the comfort and familiarity that they feel at their home. I can visit them daily, give them walks, training, play with them and of course feed them.

Our labrador pup Ruby had an amazing long stay at Maria’s and Kaua’s:) we received a lot of videos and pictures of her walks, plays with other doggies and all the cuddles! Kaua picked her up and dropped her off at our place and it’s a great add on ❤️ guys are great at communicating and we had a trip without any worries about our doggy. Rubs is definitely coming back, thank you both so much ❤️
Onze hond heeft echt een geweldige tijd gehad! Ze heeft zoveel liefde gekregen en aandacht. Ze kon eindeloos spelen en knuffelen. We kregen elke dag een update en foto's. Het contact verliep heel gemakkelijk en snel. Ik zou zeker nog een keer oppas vragen voor onze hond. Heel erg bedankt!!
Amazing boarding experience! This is the second time Polar boarding with Maria and my dog is having a wonderful stay. This time we have a long boarding of 20 days. The dog is out playing everyday and we receive great amount of pictures and videos of my happy dog.
Maria is great! Our dog (a labradoodle) had a wunderfull time, with lots of love and attention!
Polar had a great stay with Maria! During the stay Maria sent many pictures and videos and I can feel her love of the dog. Would definitely recommend Maria!

I am currently adapting my schedules with a part time job, so I have a lot time to spend playing with your pets and taking care of them.

Safety, trust & environment
For boardings: flexible check-in and check-out times. Pick up and drop off are not included on the rate. This can be arranged for free in a place that is convenient for both parts, otherwise this service would be charged. Pets are allowed on furniture and the bed. Three walks are included per day. House visits: 1-hour visits, up to two times per day, and small errands accepted (water plants, get mail in, etc.) For housesitting inquiries: total length to be arranged into 24-hour periods. Errands available on request: house cleaning services, pet hygiene, etc. I ensure total security for your pet and house, to follow every instruction, and address any one of your concerns. Handling of medication done upon request.
A typical day
For dogs with high levels of energy and anxiety, it is best to drain their energy in large spaces such as parks, or with long walks. I also manage some training tricks to keep them mentally busy whether it's open spaces or at home.
