Fenced Yard In Nice Neighborhood
Hi! I'm Maria! The first thing you need to know about me is that I love hanging out with dogs. I enjoy getting to know their unique personalities, giving them love and snuggles and treats (when appropriate, of course!). I'm happiest when taking them for walks or for play time at the local dog park. Dogs are pure joy! I have an 12 year old son who also loves animals and is dying to have a dog sleep at the end of his bed at night. We are not able to have one of our own at the moment, so we care for your dog like it is our own. I am firm and make sure that all dogs know the house rules, and have successfully had as many as three dogs from different families in my care. These have included dogs that are a handful or have had problems getting along with other dogs in the past. I understand the need for assertive leadership and setting consistent boundaries, which dogs need to feel safe especially in new settings. We have a large fenced yard for lots of doggy romping and exploring. We live near an off-leash dog park. Often, I spend my weekends hiking with a dear friend and her Boxer, Khloe, who we take to the 1,000 acre off-leash dog park. This could be a possibility if there is a long-term relationship built between me and your dog. It's important to me to provide the best care possible for your pet, so I would love to set up a meet and greet with both of you! This was my first time leaving my dog with anyone after just getting her a few months ago, so I was definitely nervous about stuff (like using Rover), but Maria was super helpful in walking me thru stuff, having us come over the week before to check out the house and meet each other and putting all my worries to rest as I ironed out last minute details. She was also really flexible with my schedule since I had to add another day at last minute before I left and then my flights got delayed on the way back. But ultimately what matters is my dog had a great time hanging out at Maria's house and I'll 100% be using her the next time I have to go out of town.
Maria is fantastic and my dogs had a great time! Maria is the kind of person you ought to expect to have watching your little ones when you use Rover - communicative, respectful and kind to you and your pups, truly cares about dogs and meets their needs well and flexible to make sure your personal experience is as good as your dogs’. All around amazing service and such a sweet person. Will be using Maria again!
Great and super patient with our pup
This is our second time using Maria, and she is fantastic! We were running late after some car trouble, and she was super accommodating. Will def be using her again!!

A typical day
When your pet is in my care we'd hang out at home, play in the back yard, walk to school with my son and go visit the dog park (assuming he's a social pup). There would be a lot of snuggling on the couch as well. And, of course regular meal times and treat snacks!
