I’ve been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember, and I’ve had the privilege of caring for them throughout their lives, including their senior years. One of my most rewarding experiences was rescuing a 66-pound Pitbull/Great Dane mix who had been severely neglected and abused. He had been living with a homeless person who beat him, and he suffered from a fractured bone. After witnessing this, I made the decision to take him and give him the care he deserved. I arranged for his surgery and took charge of his rehabilitation. Since he was reactive, I also trained him to help him adjust and thrive in a loving environment. Eventually, he became part of my family. Over the years, I’ve also cared for various other pets, including cats and even fish. One memorable experience was looking after my best friend’s senior dog. I applied her eye drops daily, but I always had a piece of chicken breast ready as a reward for being such a cooperative patient. Most recently, I cared for a dog for an entire month, ensuring he had the attention, love, and care he needed. Caring for animals is more than just a responsibility to me, it’s something I do with my heart.

In my home, I prioritize safety and comfort for the pets I care for. I maintain a clean and secure environment, ensuring that there are no hazards that could harm them. I have a small dog park nearby, which allows for safe, supervised outdoor play and socialization with other dogs. This space is perfect for allowing pets to stretch their legs and enjoy fresh air. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their specific rules and routines to maintain consistency. I respect the pet’s space and comfort, providing a calm atmosphere that helps reduce stress. Communication with pet owners is key, as it builds trust and ensures that I understand their pets’ unique needs and preferences. Overall, my goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment that allows pets to feel secure, happy, and loved, whether they are in my home or theirs.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Maria!! Having two pit bulls can be daunting to some and I am always apprehensive when leaving my pups for an extended period of time. Not everyone understands the stigma behind the bully breed so it is always a huge source of anxiety for me when I travel. She went FAR above and beyond to communicate with me and send pictures and videos of my babies daily. She instantly put me at ease and my puppies absolutely adore her. I will recommend her forever and be a lifelong rover customer with her🥰
Very kind and helpful on short notice! She gave me peace of mind while I was gone from my cat with a bunch of health issues. Sent so many pictures and videos so I could see he was doing okay. Truly went above and beyond for me.

Schedule
As a dedicated pet caregiver, my flexible schedule allows me to provide ample attention and care to your furry friend. I study from home for about six hours a day (not consecutively), which means I’m available to be with your pet throughout the day. I take frequent breaks during my study sessions, creating perfect opportunities for walks and playtime. On weekends, my husband and I love to explore nature, and if your dog enjoys the outdoors, they’re welcome to join us on our adventures. I’m committed to ensuring your pet feels loved, engaged, and well-cared for, making each day a joyful experience for them.
