I'm a trustworthy, young professional living in DC. I will go above and beyond for your dog or cat to feel comfortable. I've been around animals all my life. I'm active, so I can keep up with very active dogs. I can also be a couch potato and spoil dogs who are more laid back or exhausted from playing. I’m good with cuddly cats and moody cats. Let me spoil your pup, kitty, or other animal while you're away! I do have some personal experience with giving animals oral medication (basic pills and oral laxitives...yes, gross haha), but I am a quick learner for other forms of medication and would make sure I knew what I was doing before I accepted a request. We could meet and discuss things further. I will always put the safety of the animal before myself. Looking at things, booking on Rover can seem rather expensive if you have a few animals. However, I am willing to negotiate on prices depending on how many animals I would be watching, how extensive the care, and so on. Just talk to me first and hopefully we can figure something out. Changing my rate can be easy, finding another trustworthy and loving sitter is not. Also, chances are if I watch them once, I’ll be attached and miss them! So rebooking is always appreciated :) If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!

Maria was awesome! She gave my cat a lot of attention and was very responsive.
Maria cared for our 2 kitties while we were away, and I highly recommend her! She was very thoughtful, attentive, and provided great communication. Our kitties were healthy and happy when we returned. 😊 Will absolutely use her again!
Maria watched our two dogs in our house while we were out of town. While we were gone she provided regular communication and left the house in perfect condition when we returned. Our pups seemed very happy with Maria's care. In addition to pet care, Maria saved the day by helping us air out mail that had gotten trapped in a monsoon outside. We have already booked Maria for another weekend and would not hesitate to recommend.
Maria was so helpful and accommodating with our cat! My only concern was that he seemed to like her so much that he forgot about us. I'd highly recommend!
Maria stayed in the area an extra night just to watch our puppy! She sent me updates and photos all day! She was amazing! I would highly recommend her to anyone!
Maria was wonderful! She stayed at my apartment to take care of my pup and kept me updated with texts and pictures throughout the weekend. Because of her, I was able to enjoy a weekend away with no stress! Definitely recommend and will hopefully book again in the future ?

Schedule
I work in an office M-F, so weekends typically work best for me. However, I do use my lunch break to check in on animals that I’m watching M-F, so we can definitely work something out!
