Trustworthy and Passionate Pet Care
I grew up surrounded by animals and have spent my life caring for both dogs and cats. Over the years, my family shared our home with a German Shepherd, a Poodle, two Golden Retrievers, a sweet rescued stray dog, and three adopted cats. Caring for them from a young age taught me so much about their different routines, personalities, and needs. I have extensive experience with feeding, walking, playtime, giving medicine, and providing a safe, loving environment for pets. Additionally, I have experience with rescue dogs, so I am very comfortable, patient, and respectful with pets that might have specific triggers, fears, or need a bit of extra care and understanding.

Safety, trust & environment
I’d love to host pets at home, but I don’t have a safe space for them just yet. For now, I’m happy to care for them in their own home or take them out for walks, ensuring they feel comfortable and well cared for.

Maria was truly great. She communicated extremely well and sent regular updates. She took care of Janie as if she were her own dog. Janie is a little older and has some health issues. Maria handled the relatively complex feeding and medication instructions with the ease of a veterinary nurse. To make sure that Janie doesn't skip anything she even hand-fed her the food. If you look for something you can even trust a sick pet with look no further.
Maria was an excellent cat sitter, she sent me daily updates and it was clear Brioche was really comfortable with her. Definitely recommended!
Maria was lovely and took great care of Teddy. She was very kind, sweet and attentive, and I felt completely comfortable knowing Teddy was in good hands. I would definitely recommend her!
Maria did a fantastic job looking after our puppy Maggie. It was very clear to see how happy Maggie was in Maria’s company, we really appreciated the regular updates with lots of photos and a few videos. When we came home Maggie was in great shape, happy and full of confidence. Her lead walking and response to commands had also massively improved! The house was cleaned, laundry done and everything looking great, which we didn’t expect but what a delight to come home to. Thank you Maria for everything you did and the care you gave Maggie while we were away. Definitely a star sitter!!!
Kiwi was very lucky to be taken care of by Maria! She was incredibly kind and patient with my nervous and quirky greyhound, paid great attention to his communication and behaviour, and followed his routines to make sure he was comfortable. I came back to a very well looked after pup and felt very confident leaving Kiwi in her care :)
Maria is such a lovely, kind and caring person. She kept in touch and sent pictures of both our pets who seemed very happy and content in her company. Our house was clean and tidy when we returned too. We'd happily recommend Maria to house sit and would gladly have her sit for us again. Thank you Maria!

Schedule
Pet care fits perfectly into my routine because I have a highly flexible schedule. This allows me to structure my day around the pets' needs, ensuring they get their walks, meals, and medicine exactly on time. I love taking breaks to play or cuddle with them, so they never feel lonely and always get plenty of attention throughout the day!
