Hi! I’m Maria, a work from home pet sitter based in Winthrop. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets behind, which is why I focus on keeping them comfortable in their own space whenever possible. I stick closely to their normal routines and make sure they feel safe, loved, and relaxed while you’re away. I offer overnight, in home care, drop ins, and boarding, and I’m always happy to talk through what setup works best for you and your pets.

We are so glad we found Maria! She was able to accommodate a last minute request, and even made the time for a meet and greet the same day. Her communication is excellent, she was respectful in our home, and our pup absolutely loves her (he has refused to go on walks with other new friends before so that says a lot!) We will definitely be booking again!
I had a great experience leaving my dog in Maria’s care for the first time! She was attentive, kind, and communicated regularly, making me feel at ease. My dog was well taken care of during a couple days, and I could tell she really love animals. I would definitely trust her again and recommend her to others!
Maria was absolutely wonderful while we were away on vacation. She took such great care of our pets—feeding our fish every day, giving our cats plenty of love and playtime, and making sure our son’s lizard was well cared for, including maintaining his habitat. She kept us updated, which we really appreciated, and we came home to happy, well-looked-after animals. It’s clear she genuinely cares, and knowing our pets were in such good hands made all the difference. I’d highly recommend Maria to anyone looking for a kind, responsible, and attentive pet sitter!

Schedule
Because I work from home, I’m especially great for overnight stays. I’m around most of the day, which helps pets stay calm and settled in their own environment. I know how important consistency is, and I’m here to give you peace of mind while you’re away. I’m also available for boarding in my home or quick check ins if that’s what you need. I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have years of hands on experience caring for all kinds of pets including dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, fish, and even horses. Shoutout to my off track thoroughbreds, Fury and Cayman. I’ve raised and loved dogs of all sizes and personalities, from stubborn little dachshunds to big, goofy Labs and Dobermans. I’m comfortable with senior pets, anxious dogs, energetic puppies, and everything in between.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow routines closely and make sure pets feel calm, secure, and cared for. In my home, pets stay in a cozy, pet friendly condo with plenty of supervision and attention. I also have two friendly cats who are used to other animals. When caring for pets in their own home, I stick to your instructions, keep everything consistent, and provide regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing.
Pets
A typical day
Each day is tailored to your pet’s needs. Mornings start with a walk or potty break, breakfast, and some relaxed time together. Throughout the day we fit in walks, playtime, enrichment, or rest depending on your pet’s energy level. Evenings include another walk, dinner, and winding down so pets feel settled and comfortable, especially for overnight stays. I’ll make sure they’re happy, comfortable, and loved.
