Scout's Friends Dog Boarding
Hi there! I provide a great home for my critters and kids, and there is always room for friends - furry and otherwise. I work from home, so I am available to give lots of time and attention to each pet's needs. I was a professional dog trainer for over 10 years, and my philosophy was relationship based. I like to reward what I do want, and make the right things easy, which minimizes stress. Usually only one dog will be booked at a time, but I will take in two to three if they are from the same family. Being that I have resident kids, dogs and a cat that are all accepting and kind to other dogs, at this time I can only take dogs that reciprocate the good will.

My dog loved thier time at Maria’s. She is super responsive and took such good care of my 10 months old puppy and 4 year old doodles. My dog were happy and tired from all the fun they had. Would absolutely use Maria again.
Maria took excellent care of our dog Koda. It was wonderful to go on vacation and know Koda was also having a great time. He got regular walks, played with and was pampered. We will happily take Koda back next time we need a dog sitter.
Sydney had a fabulous time at Maria's house. Sydney and Maria's dog Scout had lot's of fun playing and running around Maria's acreage. It was so nice not having to worry about Sydney, we knew she was well cared for at Maria's. I would recommend Maria for your dog's vacay. We will use Maria again.
Maria seems to love all dogs and lives on a fantastic property with plenty of space for the dogs to run around and play. Her entire family loves to have furry visitors - they looked after my 'big' dog recently and he came back so relaxed, in fact I think he wishes he could stay there because he was showered with lots of attention! I'd certainly recommend her and would hope that she would look after Dzul for me again in the future. Thanks Maria for giving me peace of mind so I could enjoy my vacation!
You cannot find anyone better than Maria to care for your pets of almost any kind! She has been involved with all kinds of animals (including owning and operating her own dog training business). She is very knowledgeable about every kind of pet from dog,to cat, to horses etc. She has cared for my pets repeatedly over many many years, and she is amazing! No one, except for you of course, will love and care for your pets better than Marie. When we go out of town, I NEVER give my pets a second worry when I know they are with Maria. I HIGHLY recommend Maria for any pet services you require; your pets will thank you!
To whom it may concern; Maria Slough. Maria, is my sister in law, and as long as I've known her, (40+ yrs) she has been "one" with all animals. A typical day
When walking in town I make lots of time for them to get in sniffs and follow what interests them. A dog that is stimulated mentally is often more tired out than a dog that is just physically exercised, so we make sure to do both. When at my acreage, they get lots of free time to hunt and play in 6 fenced acres.
