Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’ve grown up with dogs since I was four years old—my first dog was truly part of the family and by my side throughout my childhood. Since then, I’ve had the joy of living with two more dogs from the age of 14 until leaving for work in London, so being around dogs has always been second nature to me. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve also had experience dog-sitting for others. While living in Clapham, London for two years, I regularly took care of a lovely local dog through BorrowMyDoggy. This gave me the chance to build trusted relationships with dogs and their owners and adapt to different routines and care needs. Whether it’s going for long walks, giving belly rubs, or just spending quality time with your dog, I bring genuine love, patience, and responsibility to every pet I look after. I know how important it is to find someone reliable and caring to look after your dog, and I’d be honoured to help.

Maria and Max take great care of Brookie - he seems to love being at their's! Your pup will get lots of cuddles (Maria), exercise / play (Max), and love (both). Would highly, highly, recommend without a second thought.
Maria & Max took perfect care of our greyhound boy for a week and a half whilst we were away! They clearly really love animals and we felt perfectly comfortable leaving Manu with them. They sent us lots of updates and pictures so we knew he was settled right in with them. We really appreciate that they followed all of our instructions perfectly which included giving him his medicine 3x a day. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and hope Manu can stay again in future :)
Maria and Max were INCREDIBLE! Roly absolutely loved them and he had a lovely stay — he was so well looked after, given plenty of walks, love, and affection, and I got regular pupdates from them. I felt so relaxed and reassured, knowing he was in good hands. Would 100% recommend!
This was my first time using Rover - and Maria made me feel completely comfortable leaving Layla with her. She sent many updates and photos while I was travelling- and Layla seemed quite relaxed and happy with her and her partner. Layla is a gentle, calm, loving dog who only wants lots of pets and cuddles- and I am glad she got that from them! I will definitely reach out to her again when I'm away.
Winston seemed to really enjoy his time at Maria & Max's place. He made himself at home straight away (jumping on everything in sight!) - luckily, this didn't phase them, and when we collected him he looked very comfortable around them, which was lovely. It was great to meet beforehand, and communication was very easy both before and during Winston's stay. Would definitely recommend!
Maria and her partner Max, were wonderful sitters for our cat kids. They kept us updated and sent through live photos and videos, reassuring us they were doing well and settled in comfortably with them in their home abd their daily lives. Would easily recommend, thanks so much!

Schedule
Pet care fits really naturally into our routine. I live with my partner, and between the two of us, we work from home most of the week—my partner works remotely four out of five days, and I work from home three days a week. That means there’s always someone during the day to give your dog attention, company, and care whenever they need it. We’re both lifelong dog lovers. I’ve grown up with dogs since I was four years old, and my partner has had dogs since he was eight, so looking after them feels like second nature to us. We’re happy to adapt to your dog’s needs—whether that’s regular daytime care, walks, or longer stays like weekends. We’re flexible and always aim to create a calm, loving environment for any dog that joins our home. We know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet, and we’d love to be that support for you.

Whether your dog stays with us or we’re caring for them in your home, we always aim to provide the same level of love, attention, and routine they’re used to. At our home, your dog will get plenty of playtime, regular walks, fresh food and water, and lots of affection. We live in the centre of Elephant Park, so we have easy access to plenty of green space for walks and outdoor time. Our home also has a terrace, giving dogs a safe and relaxing spot to enjoy some fresh air throughout the day. We make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and part of our daily life. The same goes when we care for dogs in their own home—we stick to their usual routine as much as possible to help them feel relaxed and at ease. We’re also happy to be flexible with pick-up and drop-off times to suit your schedule. Whether it’s just for the day, an overnight stay, or a weekend away, we’re here to make the process smooth and stress-free for both you and your dog.
A typical day
A typical day with us is all about keeping your dog happy, safe, and stimulated—both physically and mentally. We start the day with a nice morning walk to get some fresh air and stretch those legs. After that, it’s breakfast time followed by a bit of downtime to rest and digest. Mid-morning, we’ll often have a short play session or some gentle training—whether it’s reinforcing basic commands, playing with toys, or simply engaging in positive interaction. In the early afternoon, we go for another walk—this one a bit longer, often around the green spaces of Elephant Park, where your dog can explore, sniff, and enjoy the outdoors. After that, it’s lunchtime (if needed), more cuddles, and plenty of companionship while we’re at home working. Later in the afternoon, there’s time for another walk, some calm indoor play, and more one-on-one attention. We always make sure your dog feels loved and secure throughout the day, whether it’s through belly rubs, brushing, or just quiet time together. In the evening, there’s dinner, followed by a final short walk to wind down before bedtime. We aim to match your dog’s regular routine and energy levels, and always provide a safe, warm, and calm environment.
