I work remotely two days a week, which allows me to be present, attentive, and flexible with feeding schedules, medications, playtime, and companionship. With my kids grown and out of the house, I truly enjoy the comfort and connection animals bring to my day. Having pets around adds purpose, routine, and warmth to my home, and I value the quiet companionship as much as they do.
