Information Maria R. would like to know about your pet

I don't have any breed preferences, I love all dogs. I also really love cats. I feel pretty comfortable watching or checking on any pet as long as they're not a biter. While I am watching your dog or walking them, I'd love to know their preferences. -Does your dog listen better after I make them sit? is there any specific training you've done with them regarding hand signals? -Does your dog have any triggers? Will they nip if I try to bathe them? I am okay with that, I just need to know ahead of time so I can take necessary precautions to keep us both safe. -What is your preferred method of reward when your dog is behaving? -How far would you like me to walk your dog?

A typical day

I plan to make each walk special for the dog based on their breed and preferences. Large dogs like Pitbulls and Labradors would probably enjoy more rigorous hike type situations where smaller dogs may just enjoy being walked around their neighborhoods and given a chance to sniff everything. I'll walk your dog, clean up after them, bring them home and store them however is method (some dogs get crates some don't obviously) and then make sure their food and water is topped off before sending a picture to let their parents know how they're doing.

Pet care experience

I have a lot of experience with elderly dogs. The last dog I adopted was 16 years old when I picked him up from the shelter; he had been left there over COVID and he required a lot of nail care, tooth brushing, and regular bathing. I have patience for older dogs and I think that they're just as precious as puppies.

Maria has been phenomenal with both of my dogs! She's been understanding, enthusiastic, and caring. I would absolutely recommend Maria to anyone looking for pet care!

Words cannot express how amazing Maria is with animals. I have two senior animals, a cat and dog. She went above and beyond with both. She even bathed my senior dog and clipped her nails. When my dog hears Maria's name, she perks up like she's a puppy again. Any time I leave town and need someone I trust with my babies, I call Maria.

Maria watched my elderly disabled cat Luna. She is a black cat and I don't trust everyone to take good care of a black cats since some people have superstitions. She took good care of Luna. 5/5
