When I came to live in London my first tears were because of Tobias (cat-10 years old) & Pipa (dog-11). When I saw them through my Skype screen I couldn't help it. Until now my family still makes fun of it (and they are jealous). And after "how are you mum and dad and sis", there is always the question: is Pipa taking the pills? How is Tobias doing, eating well? I've always had dogs. I was born moreless at the same time Lord was born (my grandparents german shepherd). We were inseparable. Maybe that is why my heart beats faster for large breed dogs. After a few birds and fishes I decided not to have more. I couldn't stand seeing them in cages. I always wanted a cat. But it was only when I turned 15 that my mother finally granted my wish. Cinza. My first cat. Although I'm so sentimental with animals and have so much love to give them, they always leave me sooner that they should. They run away or have some fatal disease. That meant constant care and I was normally the nurse on call. I had had to say too many goodbyes, Pipa died March 2016. But with sad goodbyes came beautiful hellos. The dog pictured is Marquês, Alentejo Mastiff, our new addition to the family :-) Here in London I don't have a pet. I want to be with them. I'm a big fan of The Dog Whisperer. Sometimes I just like to stand there, observing or having a silent conversation with them.
