If your dog wants to play, she’s all in, but if your dog prefers to nap, she’s happy to relax too. Evelia is great at reading other dogs’ energy levels and play styles

A typical day
I work from home, so I’ll be with your dog all day. In the mornings, they usually explore the house and play, or sometimes just entertain themselves with the toys we have around. Around noon, we go for a 30–45 minute walk (depending on the weather and the dogs' energy levels). I live right next to Prince’s Island Park, so there are lots of fun sniffs and sights to enjoy! In the afternoons, the dogs either keep playing or settle in for a nap. I’m totally fine with dogs on the couch and bed, they can free roam and make themselves at home. I love giving them lots of pets, and we always have treats on hand to make sure they have a fun, happy stay!

I’ve had dogs my whole life, and after moving to Canada, I couldn’t imagine not having a furry friend by my side. Two years ago, my best friend Evelia joined my family. She is a sweet and playful pup, and together we love welcoming doggy guests into our home. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I am CPR certified and comfortable administering medication if needed. Evelia is very friendly and will happily match your dog’s energy, whether that means playing or just relaxing together. I work from home, so your pup will never be left alone. We live near Prince's Island Park, which means plenty of fun and scenic walks. Whether you are working, traveling, or just need a pet-free day, you can rest easy knowing your dog will be cared for like family with lots of love, cuddles, and attention.

Maria Paula treated our girl Winnie like her own and I have no doubt she got amazing care staying with her and Evelia! She sent us pictures and a daily update on how Winnie was doing during her entire stay which was much appreciated. She was responsive and easy to connect with for pick up/drop off and a meet and greet beforehand. 10/10 we would book with Maria Paula again!
I made a last minute appointment for doggy day care with Maria, just the night before. She responded very fast and was able to accommodate Miso. I dropped Miso off at 9:30am with his meals for the day, a toy, his harness, leash, and some treats from home. The instructions to her place were very easy and accessible. I gave her a brief run over of Miso’s personality, my feeding routine with him, and how to keep him entertained when I made the booking. As soon as I left, she sent me pictures of him playing with dog toys she already had. Maria has her own pup who played well with Miso, so that was a big bonus since Miso is a social dog. Maria is located in a beautiful location with incredible proximity to lucrative and large parks with diverse sights including the river, groups of people and other dogs, and natural vegetation. If you are hoping to have your dog get out more and experience different smells, sights, and sounds, Maria is the ideal person to have your pup stay with. She took Miso and her dog outside three times throughout the day, and their pictures together showed that Miso had a great time. I picked him up at the end of the day, 9:30pm. I knew he had a really fun and fulfilling day trip because he was quiet the entire car ride home. All in all, it was a pleasure boarding Miso with Maria - she was very easy to communicate with, and I felt at ease while I was busy the entire day because I knew he was well-taken care of and entertained. Miso will be returning when the time comes. 😊
