My husband, Matt, and I would love the opportunity to care for your furry family member! Because we both work hybrid schedules, we can coordinate our days to ensure someone is home throughout the week, giving your pet plenty of companionship, attention, and care. We are responsible, respectful, and genuinely compassionate animal lovers who understand that every pet has unique needs and routines. Matt previously worked at a dog shelter in Etobicoke, where he gained valuable experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. We live in a pet-friendly condo surrounded by beautiful green spaces, with plenty of opportunities for walks throughout the day. We're also just a short walk from a dog park for dogs who enjoy extra exercise and socialization. We are happy to follow your pet's regular schedule for walks, meals, playtime, and bedtime to help them feel comfortable and at home. We also have experience administering medications, including insulin injections and antibiotics. Simply provide us with your pet's routine and instructions, and we'll make sure they're cared for with the same attention and love you would give them. Above all, we treat every dog and cat as if they were part of our own family, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. We can't wait to meet you and your wonderful pet!

Maria and Matt really go above and beyond. This was my first time leaving Daisy with anyone. We had to be out of town 19 days for a wedding and we’re having a hard time finding someone to watch Daisy. She’s a high maintenance dog who needs to be with someone 24/7. I decided to try Rover and do a meet/greet them. They were both so nice and made me feel at ease when I let them know all of Daisy’s requirements. They would send daily updates several times a day and I could immediately tell Daisy was comfortable. I even joked which one of us was on vacation. I really can’t express into words how much peace of mind they gave us. We actually got to enjoy the wedding trip. I’ll never be able to thank you both enough Maria and Matt!
Maria and Matt were so caring for our cat. They sent daily updates and pictures to let us know how he was doing. They were able to read his personality and take really good care of him. Next time we go on vacation forsure we will send our fur baby to them to watch him again. I felt he was in really good hands/care.
Maria was the perfect match for my cat who had never been separated from me before. I luckily found her on Rover three days before my trip and I'm so so happy I did! She sent me plenty of updates, photos and videos which made me feel so comfortable having my cat in her care knowing she treated her as her own. Very lovely sitter
We trusted our dog with Maria for 10 days while we were out of town and everything went so well. We got so many updates with pictures and videos, which is what we wanted. We were nervous because there was no back up plan in case things didn't work out, but Maria was able to troubleshoot so many problems for our anxious little dog. Highly recommend.
I feel like maria really treated my dog like her own. She's very understanding of my dog's lack of training so far and accommodated accordingly. Definitely a relief for me. Will be booking with her again!
I was anxious leaving Theo, my three month old chihuahua for the first time. As soon as I met Maria my mind was at ease, and based on her body language so was Theo. While on the way to the airport I received a video of a very happy dog playing with Maria. What a relief to have my dog in such a loving environment. It was really important to me that Theo got lots of love and attention - at this stage in her life she doesn’t like to be alone. Maria went above and beyond incorporating Theo into her life and routines. I received lots of nice pictures, videos and updates, which made being away from her much easier. When I picked her up, I was greeted by a very comfortable and happy puppy. I’ll be reaching out to Maria again before my next trip. Highly recommended!

Schedule
My partner and I work from home. We both have availability to go downstairs with the dogs for a pee break or walk. For short walks, we go around the building. For longer walks, we go around the Markland Woods Loop, 5 minutes walking from our place

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a Condo at Mill Rd and Burnhamthorpe Rd. It is a very safe condo with elevators. We live on the 7th floor. The condo has a fenced space for pets.
A typical day
I weak up very early in the morning and I take the pet for a walk. They love it! They usually take a nap in the morning. In middle of the day I give them food and take them downstairs to pee break. At the end of the day, I take the pet to the park for a longer walk and we come back home for dinner time
