Hello there!!! My name is Maria Carolina, but I go by Carolina! I work from home, so I have the availability to give the attention and care your pet needs. I don’t have any kids or pets, and I don’t take dogs from different households. I am Brazilian, and I just got a house in Sandy, after spending 15 months on a sabbatical, doing house and pet sitting, and traveling through the US, South America and Europe. I got very used to have pets around me, but I am not ready to have my own dog, so I decided to keep doing pet sitting to foster the pet connection in my life. During my sabbatical, I was traveling and house/pet sitting using another platform. During that time I had experience caring for several pets, among them: Labradors, German Sheppard, Jack Russel, pugs, frenchies,huskies and a couple of cats! I have my interview process before accepting to board any pet, I want this to be a good experience for the pet, for you and for me. I just take pets from one house hold at a time, and I can take up to 3 dogs, depending on their behavior. Maria took good care of my dog, Bear, while we were away. She sent daily photos and updates of how Bear was doing. I am very appreciative!!
Carolina continues to be a great caretaker for my dog. She takes him for walks, sends happy pictures, and keeps me updated so I know my dog is doing well. She is good at dealing with my older dog who has some anxious habits. I will definitely trust her again with my dog!

Maria was great - my dog Nala had a few days of throwing up and feeling sick and she was updating me on her health and made her chicken and rice and cleaned her up. I so appreciate her for taking care of our girl when we were out of town and couldn’t be with her while she was sick. Would highly highly recommend!

Schedule
I work from home, my schedule is from 7 am - 4 pm, from Monday- Friday, so I am home most of the day, on weekends my mornings are usually busy, but other than that, I’m mostly at home.

Safety, trust & environment
I ask as many details as possible about the pets routine, to keep minimal changes for them. Specifically for dogs, I love to take them to dogs parks, hikes, trails, lakes, beaches, etc… since I’m a solo, they end up being a big companion! So I definitely rather sit dogs that are sociable.
A typical day
Like I said, I keep mostly at home, the dogs have access to my back yard to lounge, and get sunbath. After work I like taking them to the Sandy dog park, or trails. I’m also ok with a walk around the block, if you’d let us ok with it.
