I have just recently been made redundant and thought it would be the perfect time to try something new. I love animals and now find myself with plenty of time to look after and take care of other peoples animals too.

I am happy to adjust each visit to the needs of your pet, whether that be to sit and snuggle , play in the garden or a park, or a short or long walk. My own 13 year old Sprocker Spaniel, is very friendly and will make a lovely temporary companion if walked together. I am able to walk them separately if needed.

A typical day
I always cater for each individual dog’s needs. I’m happy to throw balls, take them swimming, let them explore local woods and park land. And for those less active, I’m happy to just pop in for a play or some company.

Pet care experience
I can’t think of a time in my life when I haven’t had a pet(s). From mice to horses, and nearly everything in between. I’m a qualified dog groomer. I also have a cat and dog first aid certificate.

Maria was fantastic! Would book again.
We felt completely at ease leaving our Bengals in the care of Maria while on holiday. We had initial visits with Maria before our holiday to ensure Benji & Talulah were comfortable and they connected straight away. Talulah became nervous before we left, but after a day Maria sent us updates to show Talulah venturing out to socialise! All updates received were as expected and nothing unusual regarding our cats behaviour. We have already booked Maria again for our next holiday and will be recommending to our friends and family!!
