Lifelong Animal Lover and Pet Sitter
I grew up with cats and have been taking care of my own for the last 8 years, plus we added a dog to our family just over 5 years ago. I’ve looked after cats and dogs for friends and family over the years and am a true animal lover! (I’ve also kept lizards, snakes and fish too!) Our rescue pup has been challenging as she is anxious and reactive, my ideas of carefree dog ownership went out the window and my learning curve has been very steep! I’ve learned so much about dog behaviour in the past 5 years and our pup is thriving. I would love to put my knowledge and experience in place to look after your furry family when you’re away from home. Please note: For solo dog walks and drop ins, I have very limited availability. Please message for more info. I do have spaces available in my group walks throughout the week. Please message for more information and to set up a meet and greet and trial walk.

I am available to make house visits to let your dog out into your garden for a potty break and play time while you’re at work. Or, I can collect them from your home and take them for a walk. I have experience with anxious and reactive dogs, and am experienced at handling and avoiding confrontational experiences with other dogs in public. I have a calm and non-confrontational demeanour, have clear boundaries with dogs and still make sure to be playful when appropriate. For your cats I am available to make daily or twice daily house visits for cuddles, play time and feeding. I am happy to scoop litter trays and give medication if needed. I adore cats and their varied personalities, and I would love to meet yours.

Second booking with Maria, outstanding as always. Excellent communication, daily updates, pictures and videos! My cat clearly adores her and it shows through the videos she sends! I highly recommend Maria, she is my go-to cat sitter!
This is the second time Maria has looked after our cats, and again she is wonderful! Our cats love her and she picks up on subtle changes with them so well! Would definitely recommend!
Maria has looked after my cat Rex quite a few times now - she is very trustworthy and I can’t thank her enough! My cat is a rescue and is very timid around new people. She has taken her time to get to know him and takes pictures/sends messages daily :) wouldn’t want to have anybody else looking after him when I’m away!
Maria always sends such lovely photos and videos. Such reassurance knowing my cat is having a lovely time with great company while I'm away.

Dates de la garde
I tutor part time in the early evenings during term time, and spend my mornings, afternoons and evenings pet sitting and dog walking. As well as taking care of my own furry family 😊
