My husband and I split our work-from-home days, so someone’s almost always around during the week, and we're both home on weekends. We do not go out much. We are home bodies and like it that way.

I have a fully wooden fenced with chicken wire backyard and live in a quiet, dog friendly neighborhood with very little traffic. If your pup needs a crate, that’s totally fine we can manage that otherwise, they’re welcome to roam free and make themselves at home. We only have one resident dog, a sweet little Chihuahua whose favorite activity is sunbathing and napping.

It really depends on the pup! I like to match their vibe if they’re playful, we’ll run around, play fetch, tug-of-war, or explore outside together. If they’re more chill, I’m totally down for couch snuggles, belly rubs, and just keeping them company. I try to keep them happy, relaxed, and feeling loved while their humans are away.

I’ve had dogs in my life since the fourth grade, and I truly can’t remember a time without one! Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all kinds—whether for neighbors, family, friends, or even friends of friends. I’ve cared for puppies up to senior pups.Dogs have always been a part of my everyday life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. We absolutely adore our Chihuahua, Romeo, and we’d care for your furry friend just like we care for him — with love, patience, and lots of cuddles.

I was only away for 3 days, but you’d think my dog had been on a luxury retreat the way she acted when I got back! Maria went above and beyond. She privded daily check-ins, adorable photos, and little updates that made me smile the whole trip. It’s clear she genuinely love animals, because my pup looked so relaxed and happy. Her routine stayed on track, and I swear she was looking around for Maria even after I got home! It’s such a relief knowing I have someone I can trust completely with my dog, even for short getaways. I’ll definitely be reaching out again—this was the best pet care experience I’ve had!
Two weeks away and I think my dog barely noticed I was gone—that’s how good Maria and Mario are! From belly rubs to park adventures, they treated my fur baby like their own. I came home to a calm, happy pup and zero guilt. 10/10 would trust again in a heartbeat!
