Hi, So a little information about myself, I have been taking care of dogs since my teenage years, looking after pets for family, friends, their neighbours, and my own neighbours. Over my two year stay in Canada, I gained valuable experience caring for dogs while their owners were away, always treating each pet as if they were my own. Through this, I have cared for dogs of all ages and sizes, adapting to their individual needs and personalities. I have experience with anxious dogs from rescue shelters and understand the patience and reassurance they require. My own dog struggled with epilepsy, which gave me firsthand experience in recognising and calmly managing seizure episodes. This has made me confident and attentive when caring for dogs with additional needs. My partner, Al, who also helps me to care for your beloved pets had his own dog through his teenage years also he cared for dogs alongside me back in Canada. Now after some time, we have settled in the Netherlands, I or I shall say we are excited to continue providing this service here. We truly enjoy being the trusted people owners can rely on, giving you a peace of mind while you’re away, knowing your pet is in a safe, loving, and caring environment.

Our Rocco stayed with Maria and her partner for almost 2 weeks. They took great care of him, when we picked him up he was clean and in great shape! I think he felt like a prince at their place. Rocco is super cuddly and Maria gave him the love and attention that he needs. She was super nice and she updated me almost daily, pictures included. Bonus points: Rocco now walks better on the leash and he s no longer pulling. Thank you Maria if you practiced this with him. We totally recommend Maria and will definetly book her again!
Maria took such great care of Jojo. She’s a warm person, and it’s clear how much she loves and cares for dogs. Being new in the city, it was wonderful to be able to rely on her. She kept me updated with photos, and I could tell that Jojo really enjoyed staying with her. I give her 5 stars and would definitely leave Jojo with her again. Thank you so much, Maria 🥰
They were just amazing with our Eva, always updating her day and be so patience with my first time away from my dog, I definitely will repeat the experience with you and recommend your service!
We left our dog with Maria for a long weekend and everything went very well. We got regular updates and Loki looked to have really enjoyed himself!
Astrid had a great stay with Maria! It was just a day visit, but I got lots of pictures and it looked like Astrid had a lot of fun!

Schedule
I am currently full-time employed but most weeks I actually do have three days off and my partner works from home which gives us more flexibility in providing services I am though aware of my schedule and I’m going to only accept to take care of dogs where my schedule allows me to spend the most time with them and not leave them alone.

Safety, trust & environment
I will take in any information from the owner about their pets and apply it to how I care for them. I do also have two parks right outside my building which allows me to provide safe open space for any dog of any needs.
A typical day
We have loads of space around the apartment to take your fur baby on a nice long walk, I love to play fetch but if your dog is not the biggest fan we can have run around or a nice calm walk, or play tug of war, I will follow your pets lead.
