Uni Student Missing Life With Dogs
Note: I live at home with my parents, my dad will be home. My dad absolutely loves dogs but just a note for any dogs who aren’t keen on men! I’ve grown up around dogs and absolutely love having them around the house. I previously owned a Golden Retriever, so I understand the care, patience, exercise and attention dogs need to feel happy and comfortable. I also regularly looked after my sister’s Labrador, including walks, feeding, playtime and overnight stays, which gave me experience caring for energetic dogs with different routines and personalities. I’m currently on a break from university, which means I have a completely flexible schedule and can give dogs lots of attention throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I live in a large house with a secure fenced garden, giving dogs plenty of safe space to play and relax. I know how important it is for owners to feel confident leaving their pets with someone, so I always aim to create a calm, loving environment where dogs feel at home. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime or just curling up for cuddles, I’m more than happy to adapt to their needs, including sharing my bed with any fluffy guest who prefers company at night!

We are so glad we found Maria to look after Asha. She loved her as soon as she met Asha and treated her like her own. Knowing how much she adored Asha made us feel immediately at ease and comfortable leaving our rescue with someone new. Maria’s communication was excellent, with lots of lovely updates and pictures to keep us informed when we were on holiday. Asha had the best time getting lots of cuddles, treats and brilliant walks. Our experience was so positive and I would highly recommend Maria to others looking for a dog sitter.

Maria was fantastic! First time leaving my dog with anyone other than family and Maria made me feel so at ease , Maley had a wonderful time and Maria sent lots of pics and updates , he was so well looked after. Will be rebooking in future and Maley will be excited to see Maria again also . Thank you 🌟 highly recommend.

Maria is a fantastic! She has looked after Peanut on multiple occasions, and Peanut has always had the best time. As a dog owner, it is incredibly reassuring to know my pup is in the hands of someone so reliable, communicative, and who genuinely loves animals. Maria is a natural - she handles Peanut’s strength and excitability with so much patience, always ensuring she gets fun, stimulating walks. She is also attentive. Peanut has a chicken allergy, and Maria has been incredibly cautious, diligent, and understanding about her dietary needs. I never have to worry when Peanut is with her. I cannot recommend Maria highly enough!

Schedule
I’m currently on a break from university, so pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine and I have a very flexible schedule throughout the week. This means I can provide plenty of attention, regular walks, playtime and company during the day rather than leaving dogs alone for long periods. I’m available for weekday and weekend care, including overnight stays, and I’m happy to adapt my routine around a dog’s usual schedule to help them feel as comfortable and settled as possible. Whether your dog enjoys lots of activity or prefers a calmer environment with cuddles, I’m able to give them the time and care they need.

I always aim to make pets feel safe, comfortable and loved while they’re in my care. In my home, dogs will have plenty of space to relax, play and feel part of the family. I live in a large house with a secure fenced garden, so there’s lots of safe outdoor space for exercise and toilet breaks. Pets will never be left alone for long periods, and I’m happy to follow their usual routines, including feeding schedules, walking routines and sleeping arrangements, to help them settle in comfortably. I understand that every dog has different needs and personalities, so I take the time to make sure they feel calm and secure. Whether they’re energetic and playful or prefer a quieter environment, I’ll adapt to what makes them happiest. I’m also very respectful when caring for pets in an owner’s home and will always make sure both the pet and home are looked after responsibly and carefully.
