Pet care experience
Loving pets like they're mine 💖
Hi! I’m Maria, a reliable and caring dog sitter with a genuine love for animals and years of hands-on experience. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping your pup company while you're away, I make sure every dog I care for feels safe, loved, and happy. I recently lost my 13 year old American bulldog and caring for other people's pets help keep that love alive. I treat every pet like family. I’m flexible with care options — I can stay at your home to keep your pup comfortable in their usual environment, or I’m happy to welcome them into my own dog-friendly home. I’ve worked with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, and I always tailor my care to match their unique needs. You can count on me to provide consistent communication and photo updates so you can enjoy peace of mind while you're away. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and passionate about dogs, I’d love to help out this summer!
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets—whether in my home or a client’s—I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and consistent environment. I follow any instructions provided closely, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication needs, and any specific behavioral considerations. I make sure they have fresh water at all times, maintain cleanliness in feeding and sleeping areas, and give them plenty of affection and attention. I also stay alert to their body language and mood, ensuring they're happy and healthy. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and aim to keep the pet’s routine as normal as possible to reduce stress.
Ratings and reviews
Maria did such a great job with our babies! We loved the update photos and our house was in perfect condition when we got home! We’d definitely book again.

Maria was truly a lifesaver. She watched my two dogs for 12 days while my family and I traveled out of state. She let me know that one of my dogs had an accident inside the house, something I think most sitters would ignore as behavioral. As a veterinary technician, I knew that what she described to me was the early symptoms of a UTI. I was able to call in medication for my dog to get started on before her symptoms progressed and Maria picked it up from the pharmacy. She kept me up to date every day with how my dogs were doing and made sure they took their medication. I was so impressed with her attention to detail and highly recommend her!
Recommending Maria is easy! She stayed with my two dogs recently and everything went very smoothly! She sent me photos of them at least once p/day, responded to my inquiries quickly, and everything in my home was left in good, clean condition, and just as she found it. I am grateful to have found her and will definitely be using her again in the future! Word is out though - she is sometimes difficult to book!
I’ve known Maria for years now and I wouldn’t trust any other person to watch my dog. The care she provides is always above and beyond and I always feel comfortable leaving my pup in her hands. Glad I found her and will never book with anyone else - I recommend her highly!
Maria has pet set our dog and 2 cats five times! Maybe six! We will always have Maria take care of our babies. They love her! She stays the nights and sleeps with them in bed! What more could you ask for?! I also work witth her and she is reliable, honest and sweet as ever! She has a big heart for not just animals, but everyone she meets. Meet her for yourself! You’ll look no more!
When my dogs see Maria coming their tails wag in delight! She is super sweet also! I know my dogs are in good hands when she is around. We have two dogs; a 16 pound wiener dog mix and an Anatolian shepherd puppy who is very energetic on walks. Maria is amazing with both of them. I highly reccomend her for all your dog care needs!

Schedule
Until recently, pet care was a regular part of my daily routine. I had a dog who was a big part of my life, and caring for him included daily walks, feeding, grooming, and spending quality time together. Sadly, I had to say goodbye to him about a month ago. Although he’s no longer with me, I still carry those habits and the sense of responsibility that came with being a pet owner. It’s something that taught me a lot about commitment, time management, and empathy.
