Attentive, Responsible Pet Care
I’ve volunteered with the humane society on several occasions for fostering kittens/cats in my home to provide them with the nurture and care they need while recovering or simply to give them a break from the shelter. I’ve also volunteered to take dogs out for walks to help alleviate any stress from being indoors too long. Maria was great watching my cockerspaniel, it always takes him a while to warm up to new people but within 5 minutes he was comfortable and going over for her to pet him. She came by ahead of the arrangement to meet him to make the transition easier. She kept me updated by text and pictures. I recommend her for your pet sitting needs!
Maria was our go-to person whenever our family would go on vacation to take care of our dog, Zeus and cat, Emille. She would go above and beyond by bringing her own treats for both pets! Our cat is usually skittish around people that don’t live in the house but Maria would be the exception. Maria was always responsive, reliable, and genuinely cared about our pets like they were her own. When our cat got sick, Maria would reach out to get updates on how he was doing and sent us flowers when he eventually passed. I have not encountered another pet sitter that cared for our animals like she did since.

Schedule
I work a full time job, and am available on weekends anytime and on weekdays from 6pm to 10pm. I do work from home and can occasionally be available 5-10pm and in emergencies 12-1pm.

- Before care begins, I like to learn about your pet’s daily routine, feeding schedule, and any preferences that help them feel comfortable. It’s also helpful to know about personality traits (shy, social, energetic), favorite toys or activities, and any sensitivities or stress triggers. Please let me know about any medical needs, medications, allergies, or special instructions, as well as emergency vet information. For dogs, I appreciate details about leash behavior and walking habits. For cats, I like to know their litter setup, preferred handling, and how they typically respond to new environments. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can provide consistent, low-stress care while you’re away.
