I work from home Monday Wednesdays and Fridays. I am usually home after 330 on Tuesday and Thursdays. I am almost always home on the weekends unless my calendar states otherwise.

Before caring for your pet, I like to learn as much as possible about their routine, personality, and needs. Please let me know about any medications, allergies, dietary restrictions, fears, anxieties, or special care instructions. I also appreciate knowing how your pet interacts with other animals and people, their favorite activities, and any commands they know. It’s also important to note that I have a friendly dog, a cat, and two children ages 5 and 8 in my home. Because of this, I like to make sure any pets staying with us are comfortable around other animals and children. The more information you can provide, the better I can make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. My goal is to keep their routine as consistent as possible and provide the same level of care and attention they receive at home.

A typical day with me is centered around keeping pets happy, comfortable, and sticking as closely as possible to their normal routine. Depending on your pet’s needs, our day may include walks, potty breaks, feeding times, play sessions, and plenty of cuddle time. I know every pet is different, so I do my best to match their energy level and personality. For active dogs, I love playing fetch, tug-of-war, going on walks, and giving them opportunities to burn off energy. For more relaxed pets, I’m happy to spend time snuggling on the couch, giving belly rubs, or simply keeping them company. Cats can enjoy interactive toys, playtime, treats, and lots of affection if they enjoy attention. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and cared for while their family is away. I also enjoy sending updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind knowing their pets are having a great time!

I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have experience caring for pets with all kinds of personalities and energy levels. My first dog was a Jack Russell Terrier named Prissy. She had more energy than I ever thought possible and was incredibly smart! Growing up, my parents also had two Black Labs who were sweet, laid-back companions. When I got my first place, I adopted a Chihuahua who quickly became my best friend. She went everywhere with me and taught me just how special the bond between a pet and their owner can be. Today, I share my home with a Pomsky named Opal. She is the sweetest girl, loves to play, and keeps us entertained every day. We also recently adopted a 5-year-old cat named Luna, who is 15 pounds of pure love and has become a cherished member of our family. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. I will care for your pets with the same love, attention, and respect that I give my own.
