I grew up in the countryside, surrounded by animals—dogs, cats, cows, horses, chickens, rabbits… Caring for them has always been part of my daily life. I have worked many summers in a shelter, which has given me experience in terms of the diseases they can have and the care to be taken. I have spent much of my life caring for my dogs and those of my loved ones when they needed a petsitter. I really enjoy spending my days with them. I speak spanish, english and portuguese :)

I am a person who adapts easily to the comfort of animals, I avoid changing their routine so as not to make them anxious. I consider myself quite empathetic with them so it is easy for me to read them to know what they need.

Maria was amazing with my cats, they really loved her visits. She was punctual and always sent photos, videos and updates. When one of my cats had some cuts from stress-scratching she informed me immediately to decide what to do.
I met Malu on Facebook in a petsitters group. She stayed at my flat for 10 days in March 2024 to look after my cat, Fideo. He’s a very moody, shy rescue cat and usually hides from everyone, even my friends who visit regularly. But with her was different. She told me everything, how even the first two days were difficult when Fideo didn't want to get out from under the bed, but with patience and perseverance she created a bond with him. She followed all his routines: food at weird hours, brushing sessions (which he demands), and even she played music for him (I told her he liked it once and she remembered). I came home to a calm, well fed, and very happy cat. Malu also left my apartment spotless. I trust her completely, and so does Fideo.
María luz watched over my two year old Border Collie, Mambo, in Porto last September while I was away on a work trip. Mambo is extremely active, he needs daily mental stimulation, lots of running, and firm boundaries. This girl handled it all like a pro. She took him to the beach early in the mornings, did training games in the afternoons, and even taught him new tricks. She kept me in the loop every day with little updates. When I came home, Mambo was clearly in love with her. I’ve hired other sitters before, but none have had the same mix of heart and responsibility that Malu brings. She’s simply amazing.

Schedule
I'm currently working at a restaurant since 5pm (mon-thru-fri-sat) but my desire to be around animals is stronger. I’m free speciI don't do this for the money, I do it to be close to them :)
