I stay at home most of the time, so they will have supervision all day. I also enjoy their company when I run errands, if they are allowed to go out.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby happy and entertained. Lots of squirrels running up the fence and birds too. If they need walks, I enjoy a good 20/30 minute stroll around the neighborhood and they can greet other dogs and people. Your pup will be safe and happy with us.

Information Maria Luisa D. would like to know about your pet
I will inquire about their personality, special needs or requirements, favorite activities, meals schedule, potty breaks schedule and any other valuable information to help me replicate their daily lives so they can feel more comfortable and safe. Being away from home and their parents is always stressful for them so the idea is to minimize that feeling. I don't have breed preferences, but I reject aggressive or unsociable personalities, for my own pups’ safety and the safety of others. I have to be aware of any medical condition, any allergies or anything that may trigger a mental or physical discomfort. I prefer neutered/spayed dogs, and all vaccinations have to be up to date as well as some type of flee prevention. I would appreciate if you let me know if any of the above is not current or not given. Unfortunately, unless part of the same family, I can’t take puppies at this moment.
A typical day
Lots of playtime and also quiet time. Individual attention, moderate walks, I also make trips to a nearby doggy park when I have more active breeds, for additional exercise. The park is fully fenced and divided into large and small breed sections. I walk them during hours when the temperature is comfortable and they can enjoy moderate, healthy exercise.

Pet care experience
Your loved pets will be treated with all the respect, attention and care they need and deserve. I have owned dogs and cats for over 35 years and I wouldn't like it any other way if my own furry children where in another person’s hands. I love their company, I play with them, walk them (my favorite thing to do…), or simply watch them play freely at my fully fenced and safe backyard. I talk to them, snuggle when they need it or want it, and make them feel confortable. Dog sitting requires constant dedication, patience, time and awareness. I am flexible and willing to give the best of me, so they can be comfortable, supervised and surrounded by affection. I would like to assist pet owners in need of a comfortable, loving, trustworthy place to leave their loved ones. I provide as many supervised potty breaks as the pet owner requests or as the dog needs, and follow all instructions and guidelines for each dog, since I know no dog is similar to another. I enjoy taking pictures and videos, so you will have plenty of them sent daily, with updates on how they are doing. I will enjoy picking up and dropping off your lovely furry friend, when boarding at my house, if you need that service. Contact me for a "meet and greet" and let me take care of your pet while you enjoy worryless time away.

Reviews

Maria was an amazing cat sitter!! She sent me updates and lots of photos of my kitty and I felt totally comfortable leaving knowing she was there. She even left me a treat for my cat for after she was done sitting! Great experience!

Maria was fantastic! I really appreciated the pictures and updates on how Ace was doing, and Ace looked extremely happy. He was able to tag along for errands, which was great since he doesn’t love being left alone. Communication was excellent!

We’ve had an excellent experience with Maria, especially since this was our first time leaving our small dog Tofu with someone outside the family. We were very worried, but she provided truly outstanding care, always keeping us updated on his health, mood, and daily activities. She sent many photos and videos of Tofu exploring, relaxing, and happily playing in her beautiful backyard, which gave us such peace of mind. When Tofu experienced some upset stomach from separation anxiety, Maria handled everything with great attentiveness and compassion. She followed all recommendations carefully, prepared a gentle diet for him, and made sure he felt safe and comforted in her very clean, welcoming home. She also did everything we asked — including cleaning his eyes regularly — and even took the time to learn some of Tofu’s commands in our language, which made him feel more secure and understood. Tofu is usually a very sensitive and timid dog, but Maria quickly gained his trust — he even enjoyed belly rubs and loved being near her. It was clear he felt cared for and truly at ease. We are incredibly grateful for Maria’s dedication and kindness. She went above and beyond, and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care for their pet.

Lily had a great stay! Louisa was very communicative and Lily was relaxed when I picked her up!
