I'm passionate about animals, meeting new personalities and being in nature! As a Pet Technician, I have experience caring for dogs and cats all age ranges. From a young puppy that requires mindful reinforcement to a senior dog that requires medication administration, I practice unconditional love and patience throughout my care. My #1 responsibility and goal is to create a safe environment and positive experience for all. To ensure my readiness and education, I am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR. I believe it's important to get to know and respect each pet's unique personality and preferences when caring for them. First time having Maria dog sit for me and it was great! When I picked up my dog she was so tired 😂 a sign of a fun and full day. Maria lives in a great area - lots of walks nearby and plenty of dogs to socialize with. On my way to pick up my dog I got stuck in a car accident traffic jam and Maria was understanding about me being late for pickup. I’ll definitely book with Maria again, she is super sweet and knowledgeable! 🐾
Maria was super helpful when I needed a dog walker last minute on a weekend. I needed someone trustworthy and kind to look after my dog and she was both! Caring for pets is the central part of my routine, I am always eager to explore new pet care opportunities and tailor my services to meet diverse needs! I am available to provide pet care on a recurring or non-recurring basis throughout the week. If your pet were to stay with me, they would be a very special guest in a home without any other animals. After free roaming around the space, we could enjoy plenty of play and cuddle time together! I live in a pet-friendly community with stunning water views, just a short 0.3mi stroll from the beach, I’d love to explore the area on foot with a new friend! My primary focus is ensuring that you and your pet(s) feel safe and comfortable. I am committed to following specific instructions and providing exceptional care. I will use my expertise to offer the best care possible, always acting with respect and kindness.
A typical day
Living in the Marina, I enjoy staying active by walking or hiking at least 11k steps daily. I allow the pets to guide me by listening to their body language. Some walks are leisurely, allowing us to explore at a relaxed pace and engage our senses. Other times, we're running because we have so much energy to exert! Even routine activities can turn into playtime, whether it's an organized game of fetch or spontaneous fun that unfolds naturally in the moment.
