Originally from Portugal with over 27 years caring for pets including my own (dogs, cats, fishes & hamsters) and rescuing dogs and cats and finding suitable owners. I’ve started dog walking, pet and house sitting over 10 years ago. I don’t have any pets at the moment as it would be too sad to leave them behind while I’m traveling.

Maria looked after our 3 months old puppy for 5 hours while we were out. Our puppy is very attached to us, as we both work from home and it was the first time she was left home without us. When we came back home, she was happy and settled. Maria kept me updated with photos and naps progress. We are very happy with how everything worked out and would definitely book again.
Maria looked after our pug, Arnie, for the weekend and we couldn't have asked for better care. She kept us updated throughout with lovely photos of him relaxing on the sofa and enjoying his walks, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We came home to a relaxed and clearly very well looked after doggy. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she left our house spotless. Maria is kind, trustworthy and genuinely cares for the dogs she looks after. We wouldn't hesitate to book her again and would recommend her without reservation to anyone looking for an exceptional dog sitter. Xx
Maria looked after Ruber the dog and our home beautifully. Ruber was well cared for with lots of walks and attention. We came home to a happy, relaxed dog and tidy clean house. Maria sent us lots of photos and videos of Ruber on his daily walks, which helped us all to see how happy he was with Maria. We will certainly be booking with Maria again in the future.
Maria was outstanding. I came home to happy, clean, healthy dogs and a clean house. She kept in touch with updates and photographs and asked questions that showed she cared and got things right for my furry family. I can't recommend her highly enough.
Maria was amazing with Bella, she sent regular photos and kept me up to date with everything! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter !
Maria is a lovely lady and took really good care of my cat Touchy whilst we were away. She sent loads of videos and photos every day which was very reassuring. Schedule
My aim is to make them happy but please note I can only accept the following dogs: All breeds as long as they are obedient, non-destructive, and non-aggressive and have a calm and gentle nature. I do not accept incontinent dogs, dogs that chew furniture or other household items. I do not accept dogs that are aggressive with other dogs or people. Safety, trust & environment
I work remotely as an Energy Assessor so I give doggies all the attention and two walks per day. During the weekends we go on hikes. I am fully insured with Petplan Sanctuary and hold an enhanced DBS check.
A typical day
Dog boarding: Dogs are walked at the beach and the woods in the morning, Bournemouth gardens at lunchtime and during weekends I like to hike or go out and explore Dorset but happy to adapt and also chill on the sofa, sit in a cafe in Swanage or a pub in Westbourne. My aim is to make your doggy happy and less anxious about missing you and adapt to a new environment, here they can make new friends and play with dogs with similar play style. Housesitting: All activities are adapted to your pets routine and surrounding area. Let me know your doggy favorite spots so we are loyal to their routine.
