I’m also bilingual (English and Spanish), which helps me communicate with pet parents and follow every little instruction with care. We were in a last minute emergency and needed someone to watch our baby boy wilson for a day. We reached out to Maria P and she accepted. I was a little worried that it was last minute but were set at ease with the communication we received from her. She sent us pictures of wilson throughout the stay and eased our mind being away from him. I will definitely be using Maria for our future stays and would recommend her to our friends.
Maria was amazing! I booked last minute and she gladly took Winston for the night. She sent multiple photos of him and gave me updates. Maria was also flexible with drop-off/pick-up. I highly recommend Maria if your in the La Quinta area!
We had a great experience! She was very attentive and caring with our dog, making sure he was comfortable and happy the whole time. We got regular updates and photos, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. You can tell she truly loves animals and treats them like her own. Highly recommend and would definitely book again!

I work from home, which allows me to give my full attention to the dogs I care for throughout the day. Whether it’s morning walks, playtime in the yard, quiet cuddle breaks, or sticking to their regular feeding and potty schedule, I’m always present and involved. Because I’m home most of the time, your pup will never be left alone or feel neglected. I’m flexible with schedules and happy to adjust to your dog’s usual routine so they feel comfortable and safe, just like they would at home. Español: El cuidado de perritos es parte natural de mi rutina diaria — no es solo algo que hago, es algo que realmente disfruto. Trabajo desde casa, lo que me permite estar presente y atenta a los perritos que cuido durante todo el día. Desde paseos por la mañana, juegos en el jardín, momentos de apapachos, hasta seguir su horario de comida y salidas al baño, siempre estoy ahí para ellos. Como paso la mayor parte del tiempo en casa, tu perrito nunca estará solo ni se sentirá desatendido. Tengo un horario flexible y me adapto fácilmente a la rutina que ya tiene tu peludo, para que se sienta cómodo, tranquilo y como en casa.

Your dog’s safety and happiness are always my top priorities. I know how important it is to find someone you can fully trust — someone who truly cares for your pup like you would. That’s exactly how I welcome every furry guest into my home. I live with two sweet and friendly dogs: one is 8 years old and full of playful energy, and the other is a gentle 15 year-old who brings calm and balance to our pack. They are both very social and used to sharing their space with new doggy friends. We have a spacious fenced backyard where dogs can explore and relax. We have a grass area that is safe and fully enclosed. For walks and playtime in other grassy areas, we love exploring the green yards around our quiet community, especially in the cooler hours of the day when the sun isn’t too strong. Inside our home, dogs are treated like family — with soft resting spots, fresh water always available, and a calm, loving environment where they can feel safe and at ease. And if you’d like, I’m happy to send you daily updates and photos of your pup, so you can feel connected and at peace while you’re away. Entiendo lo valioso que es dejarlo con alguien que lo cuide con tanto amor como tú, y así es como recibo a cada peludo que llega a mi hogar. Vivo con dos perritos adorables y sociables: uno tiene 8 años y es juguetón y alegre, y el otro tiene 15 años, es tranquilo y transmite mucha paz. Ambos están acostumbrados a convivir con otros perritos y les encanta tener compañía. Contamos con un patio trasero amplio y cercado, contamos con un area de cesped donde pueden moverse y explorar con total seguridad. Además, vivimos en un condominio muy tranquilo con áreas verdes donde salimos a caminar o jugar, especialmente en horas frescas cuando baja el sol. Dentro de casa, los perritos son parte de la familia: tienen lugares cómodos para descansar, agua fresca todo el tiempo, y un ambiente amoroso donde se sentirán tranquilos y cuidados. Si lo deseas, con mucho gusto puedo enviarte fotos y actualizaciones diarias para que te sientas cerca de tu peludo en todo momento.

A typical day
Every dog is different, so I love to adapt activities to their personality and energy! For the playful pups, we’ll enjoy games of fetch, tug-of-war, or chasing toys in the backyard. For calmer dogs, I offer peaceful walks around our green community areas, relaxing sunbathing moments, and plenty of cuddle time inside. We might have mini adventures exploring new smells, light training sessions with treats, or just lots of cozy downtime together. My goal is always to keep tails wagging and hearts happy — while making your pup feel safe, loved, and entertained during their stay. Español: Cada perrito es único, así que me encanta adaptar las actividades según su personalidad y nivel de energía. Para los más activos, jugamos a traer la pelota, correr un poco en el patio. Para los más tranquilos, damos paseos suaves por las áreas verdes del condominio, disfrutamos del sol o simplemente nos relajamos con muchos mimos. También podemos hacer pequeñas aventuras olfativas, juegos con premios o momentos de descanso y conexión. Lo más importante para mí es que tu perrito se sienta feliz, amado y lleno de alegría durante su estadía.
