Compassionate dog lover ready to care for your dog
I’m an experienced and caring dog lover who spent 10 years looking after my own dog, who had ongoing allergy issues and later became completely blind due to glaucoma. Supporting him through his health challenges taught me patience, compassion, and how to give calm, attentive care to dogs with special needs. Since he passed last May, I’ve continued caring for friends’ dogs and discovered how much I enjoy spending time with doggies—playing, walking, and giving them lots of love. I’d be thrilled to join Rover and meet even more wonderful dogs to look after.

WOW! Thank you so much to Maria & Thanos for taking such incredible care of our 7-month old puppy Twix for a week when we went on holiday. We were so nervous to leave her due to her young age, and the fact that she got her first heat cycle right over the time we went away, but Maria & Thanos made us feel so reassured. They sent so many pictures and videos of Twix absolutely living her best life every day, keeping us updated the whole time, and watching her bond with them was so special! They will be our first choice of dog sitters from now on, we could not have asked for more. Thank you to you both for the love and care you gave to our precious girl! She misses you lots!
Our miniature dachshund stayed with Maria and Thanos over a long weekend. They did a great job looking after her and were attentive to some of her specific needs. They kept us up to date and sent lots photos of her in their home and on walks. We would highly recommend Maria and Thanos, and would be happy for our pup to stay with them again in future!

I couldn’t be happier with the care Lucy received. Maria and Thanos took the time to meet with us beforehand, which made such a difference—it really helped both Lucy and me feel comfortable from the start. Throughout her stay, I received regular updates, which was so reassuring. It was clear how well Lucy was looked after and how much love and attention she was given. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave Lucy with them again and highly recommend their services.

Maria and Thanos were absolutely phenomenal. You can really tell their love and care for dogs. We left our 1-year old mini dachshund Ziggy for 3 full days of onboarding, and came back to the happiest and most comfortable pup. Maria and Thanos are super approachable, responsive, take photoshoot-quality pics to keep the owners updated and go the extra mile to ensure a safe, comfortable time for dog and owner (they even arranged a playdate with their friends' dog!). We will 100% get in touch with Maria and Thanos again - Ziggy loved them both!

Schedule
Both my husband, Thanos and I work hybrid, and we arrange our schedules so your dog is never left alone and always has someone around for comfort, attention, and care.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog will have plenty of room to feel comfortable with us. Our large, fully fenced garden provides a safe space for playtime and outdoor fun, while our home is spacious, welcoming, and set up to make dogs feel relaxed and at home.
Pets
A typical day
Both our large garden and Durham Hill, which is just behind our house, are excellent places to play with dogs. We used to play fetch with our dog which most dogs enjoy so these places are ideal for them. We do also motivate them to play inside the house with their toys. We also enjoy taking dogs for longer walks to other near parks as well, like Forsters and Beckenham Place park.
