Dogs have always been part of my family. Before I was born, my parents welcomed their first “child,” Bruno, a black Labrador who stayed by my side throughout my childhood until his final days. Growing up with him taught me that dogs are much more than pets, they are an essential part of a family’s bond, happiness, and love. Today, my family has a golden Labrador named Toby, whom we welcomed when he was only three months old. My sister and I cared for him from puppyhood, helping with potty training, teaching him to walk calmly beside us, establishing routines, and giving him plenty of patience, exercise, and affection. He has since grown into a wonderfully behaved and loving member of our family. Having cared for dogs through both puppyhood and their senior years, I understand that every stage of life requires a different kind of attention. I am responsible, energetic, patient, and committed to making every dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away.
