About Maria J.

Safety, trust & environment

I have two dogs, one Golden Retriever and one Siberian Husky. They are big breeds but they are very friendly! They just love to play and play! Your pet will be indoor most of the time with the exception of potty time and play time. I do have a fenced front and backyard. The front yard and backyard are separated but small breeds will not be in the front yard since the fence barrels are very separate from eachother and I fear a small breed can easily fit through there. Play time would have to be in the back yard with my pets. I also have a 3 foot tall dog fence I can use, if you do not feel comfortable having your pet around mine. There are many water stations around the house, a small pool for them, enough toys, and even a dog house with a padded dog bed.

Information Maria J. would like to know about your pet

Some things I want to know about your pet is potty schedule, what training do they know, meal times and how many times to feed. Anything that might scare them (ex: sirens, loud noises, other dogs, etc). Do they take medication if so please provide prescription.

A typical day

Some playtime I do with my pets include tug a war, fetch and tag. There are so many toys around the house such as tennis balls, ropes, bones, and frisbees. I have a decent sized back yard where I like to play fetch with my dogs. They run from one end to the other with so much power. There is also a pool where dogs can cool down. Once we are all tired, I like to lay down on the hammock and take a nap. Once in a while my dog will jump in with me and we will take a nap together. I also live close to a park where I like to take my dogs out for a stroll. They get their cardio in and so do I lol. I also try to do some training with dogs by having them focused on treats (or their food). This gives them more motivation on wanting to grab that treat and makes them learn a new command. So your dog will not only get playtime and attention but also some training done!

Big lover for Dogs!

Pet care experience

I don’t have much years of experience of dog sitting but I can insure you that the best care will be given to your pet! I had a few family dogs growing up but it does not compare to having your own. I got my first ever pet last year and he is truly my baby. Rex is his name, he just turned one year old on September 12th. He’s still a puppy in my eyes lol. I have taken him everywhere I can with me, the mall, the beach, hiking, restaurants, family gatherings, etc! A pet is a life time commitment so I try my best to bring him everywhere with me. I have taught him some on command training since he was a puppy such as sit, paw, down, spin, drop it and stay. He’s not very good at “come here” since he has selective hearing lol. I have recently been touched by all the animal shelters that suffer being locked up for a long time. That is why I decided to save a dog from my local shelter. Hugo is my second baby! He is the sweetest dog there very is. He does not know what a toy is even though I try to introduce them to him, all he wants is love and attention. I barely adopted him on September 29th so we’re still in the learning process of on command training but he is very good with dogs and humans. Both Rex and Hugo show the biggest love. Seeing them every morning and every evening after work really spark up my day. There are a few days throughout the week where I go home for lunch to play with my dogs. I am very grateful to have a job close to my home that allows me to check up on my pets. When I don’t go home during my lunch time I check up on my pets through a camera I set up for them. This gives me some piece of mind. My love for dogs is so big that I hope to open a rescue soon.

Maria has two dogs, Rex and Hugo, and you can tell how much she loves and cares for them. They’re always so happy and well-behaved, which says a lot about the kind of attention and love she gives them. She’s super patient, responsible, and has a really warm way with pets. I have no doubt she’d treat anyone’s pets just like her own. If you’re looking for someone you can truly trust to look after your furry family members, Maria’s the one

Maria is an incredibly responsible and compassionate pet caregiver. From the moment she meets a new pet, it’s clear how much she genuinely cares for animals. She takes the time to understand each pet’s individual needs, personality, and routine, which makes both pets and their owners feel at ease. Whether it's feeding, walking, or simply spending time with them, Maria goes above and beyond to ensure every pet is happy, comfortable, and safe. I’ve seen firsthand how patient and attentive Maria is, especially with pets that may be shy or anxious. She creates a calm and loving environment that helps build trust quickly. Her communication is excellent—she provides thoughtful updates and photos, which is always reassuring when you're away from your furry friend. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Maria to anyone looking for a caring and dependable pet sitter.

Maria is a pet owner to Rex and Hugo, the love and care she has for her pets is like no other. She’s always watching after them, taking them on walks, playing with them and most importantly showing them their loved. She’s would make an amazing pet caregiver for these reasons. She is also very responsible when it comes to her pets, she’s always attentive of them.
