I am a veterinary medicine student at the University of Edinburgh who has gained experience in almost every animal species! I have worked at 4 vet clinics, kennels and catteries. At Uni, I have been taught the correct animal handling techniques and the body language presented when animals express different emotions. At home, I have grown up with pets my whole life. Due to my expansive experience, I can ensure your pet will be cared for in the safest way possible as if they were my own!

I was away on holiday for ten days and left my four beloved cats in Maria’s care — and I honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Maria did an absolutely amazing job. All my cats were calm, happy, and clearly well cared for when I returned. She followed every instruction with such attention and love, and even went the extra mile by watering the flowers in my front garden, which was such a thoughtful and kind gesture. Maria has cared for my dog on multiple occasions, and it’s clear she’s a responsible, loving, and trustworthy girl with a natural ability to connect with dogs. My dog, who is energetic and sometimes unpredictable, always returned from their walks calm and well-exercised. Maria took the time to understand his needs, ensuring he received the right amount of exercise and care. She also showed great attention to detail, keeping me updated with regular check-ins and being responsive to any questions I had. Can’t recommend her enough
