Your pet will be a part of our family. Does your baby have special needs or take medication? My ER nursing skills transfer well. Have a rambunctious young’un? Dolly Parton is still a puppy with endless energy. I can handle it! Plus, I managed to successfully raise two humans to adulthood!

Information Maria H. would like to know about your pet
How I can make your baby’s stay more comfortable? I encourage your pet bring a favorite toy or a blanket that smells like home. Is our new friend a chewer? Protective of food and need to take meals separately? Like treats? Used to sleeping in the bed? Need to have alone time in the kennel? I want to do everything I can to help your baby be comfortable and feel at home while spending time in mine.
A typical day
We start our day with stretching our legs and going potty in the fenced back yard, followed by belly rubs and breakfast. The backyard is fully fenced and provides ample space for the zoomies. We enjoy walking on the paved paths around the lake or the neighborhood. I enjoy having company in my home office while I work. My office has comfy spaces to rest in case my furry friends get bored by my workday activities. We take plenty of potty breaks throughout the day and have play time after dinner. At bedtime, your baby is welcome to bring a bed, snuggle with me, or find a comfortable place nearby to call his or her own.

Pet care experience
I'm Maria--I'm the person who would 100% rather be home with my dog, believes pet hair is a fashion accessory, and wonders what the would would be like if we were all the people our pets think we are. I shared my life with Murphy, the gentle German Shepherd, who had an endless desire to make friends and chase tennis balls. After Murphy crossed the rainbow bridge in December 2023, he showed me a puppy in a dream. He even told me her name. While on a business trip in February 2024, a I was randomly sent a puppy profile. It was the puppy I saw in my dream. When I discovered the foster of that puppy lived only 15 minutes from my hotel, it was clear Dolly Parton was to become a part of the family. Dolly Parton and I are excited to welcome your pet to our home while you are away. I've had amazing petsitters over the years and are now lucky enough to be able to pay it forward.

Maria did a fabulous job, thank you so much, greatly appreciated!

Vinny loved his stay at Ria’s!! Pool time and all, he was living like a king 🫶🏻

Our first stay was even better than I thought it would go, happy I found a fun and loving place to take my baby. Maria is a fellow animal lover and cared for My baby like her own. So glad she offers care. Thank you again for day one and the meet-n-greet

Maria was wonderful. She accommodated our schedule on very short notice. My babies were very comfortable with her. I had one with anxiety, and one with a health issue at the time, and she took care of their every need, and kept me updated the whole time. Thank you so much!
