Ever since I was a little girl, I have always loved animals. Over the years, my family and I have had many different types of pets including cats, dogs, turtles, hamsters, gerbils, fish, and many reptiles; including bearded dragons, geckos, chameleons, and more! The only pets I’m uncomfortable with are rats, spiders and snakes. I currently have three dogs, two cats and a turtle. My oldest cat is 20 years old and my turtle is 25. I have experience with elder pets and I’m also able to potty train kittens and puppies and give pills by mouth to both dogs and cats.

For the past eight years, I have worked in a childcare center taking care of children from the ages of two years old to 12 years old. I am very attentive and engaged in taking care of both children and animals. When in your home, I will create a fun and safe environment for your pet and take care of them as if they were my own fur baby.

Maria is just wonderful with my dogs! They are happy to see me when I return home, but their not anxious... and that's because of their check in time with Maria. :) She's just soooo good with them!
Maria has been great with our golden retriever puppy Simba. She spends a half an hour with him 3 days/ week and he looks forward to their visits. Shes takes him out to go potty and plays with him. It’s nice that he gets the chance to stretch his legs and burn off some of those puppy zoomies. She’s always on time and has been great with last minute requests as well! Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our baby boy! 🐾🐶

Maria is sooooo good with my three dogs! They are very social and she understands their need for attention. My husband and I have struggled with our somewhat unpredictable work schedules, but Maria has been a game changer! We know with her that the dogs are well cared for when we cannot be home. She's the best!

Schedule
I’m currently in between jobs; Rover is the perfect opportunity for me to fill spare time and do something I love! I recently left my job of eight years working with children. My mother is in the later stages of dementia and I am currently living with her and my father to help take care of her. Rover gives me the flexibility to create my own schedule to be sure someone is always home for my mom.
