I’m currently in between jobs; Rover is the perfect opportunity for me to fill spare time and do something I love! I recently left my job of eight years working with children. My mother is in the later stages of dementia and I am currently living with her and my father to help take care of her. Rover gives me the flexibility to create my own schedule to be sure someone is always home for my mom.

Pet care experience
Ever since I was a little girl, I have always loved animals. Over the years, my family and I have had many different types of pets including cats, dogs, turtles, hamsters, gerbils, fish, and many reptiles; including bearded dragons, geckos, chameleons, and more! The only pets I’m uncomfortable with are rats, spiders and snakes. I currently have three dogs, two cats and a turtle. My oldest cat is 20 years old and my turtle is 25. I have experience with elder pets and I’m also able to potty train kittens and puppies and give pills by mouth to both dogs and cats.

Maria was an awesome pet sitter and my dogs Lucy and Wolfie seemed to really enjoy her visit. Wolfie is an elderly dog and Lucy is a one year old and Maria was able to handle both of their needs extremely well. We will definitely use Maria again!
