Dogs have always been a big part of Keith and I. We have grown up with them, had our own dogs, and cared for dogs from puppyhood right through to their senior years. Keith and I have experience with Chihuahuas, Dachshunds and Border Terriers, as well as Schnauzers, Jack Russells and cross-breed dogs. We have also looked after dogs with different needs, including medication, special diets and different exercise routines. At one point, our family home had more than 10 dogs, so we are very used to making sure every dog is fed, cared for and gets plenty of individual attention and affection! We know how difficult it can feel leaving your dog with somebody else, particularly when travelling. That is one of the reasons we decided to offer boarding and day care. We want dogs staying with us to feel as comfortable and settled as possible, and for their owners to feel reassured that they are being properly looked after. We are happy to follow your dog's usual routine, including feeding times, walks, medication and any little habits that help them feel at home. A typical day with us can include morning and evening walks, plenty of time relaxing at home, lots of cuddles and, of course, regular photos and updates for you. We are particularly comfortable with small and medium-sized dogs, including puppies and senior dogs. Most importantly, we love having dogs around and would treat your dog as part of our home while they are staying with us.

I highly recommend Fernanda! 🐾❤️ She is absolutely amazing with dogs and has plenty of experience caring for them. She is loving, patient, responsible, and genuinely treats every dog as if they were her own little kids. You can really see how much she loves animals and how comfortable dogs feel around her. I would completely trust Fernanda to look after my dog, knowing they would be in caring and loving hands. Anyone would be lucky to have her looking after their furry family member! 🐶💕

Schedule
We have flexible working routines and work from home a couple of days a week, which means we can offer plenty of company and attention throughout the day. On day care days, dogs would not be left alone. We can fit walks, feeding, playtime, toilet breaks and rest around their usual routine, and we are happy to adapt to what they are already used to at home. We enjoy getting out for walks and have plenty of green spaces nearby, but we are equally happy with dogs who prefer a quieter day, shorter walks and lots of time relaxing on the sofa.

Safety, trust & environment
We want every dog staying with us to feel safe, comfortable and at home. We live in a mid-terraced house with private front and rear outdoor space, and there are no children or other pets in the home. Dogs are welcome to relax with us on the sofa and furniture, and they can sleep in their own bed so we can keep things as familiar as possible. We always follow the owner's instructions around feeding, walks, medication, special diets and routines. We also take time to understand each dog's personality, including anything that may make them nervous, their usual habits and how they prefer to interact. We also know how reassuring it is to hear how your dog is doing while you are away, so we are very happy to send regular photos and updates during their stay.
A typical day
A typical day would include morning and evening walks, plenty of cuddles, rest time and play if your dog enjoys it. We love walking, so we are happy with dogs who enjoy longer walks, but we are equally comfortable with dogs who prefer a slower pace and more time relaxing at home. We always try to follow the dog’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks and rest, so they can feel comfortable and settled while they’re with us.
