Hi! We’re Maria Fernanda & Gabriel, a pet-loving couple from Paraguay and Brazil, now living in Vancouver. We couldn’t bring our dog Walter with us when we moved to Canada, but thanks to Rover, we get to share that same love and care with other pups — just like we would with him. (He is now Maria’s mom best companion). We both grew up with all kinds of dogs — rescues, Maltese, Boxers, Poodles, German Shepherds, and Goldens — so pets have always been a big part of our lives. If we show as unavailable or away for some specific dates, or service please feel free to reach out anyways— we’ll do our best to make it work.

Maria and Gabriel are amazing! We so appreciated their open communication, attentiveness to Luna’s daily needs and flexibility with changes for Luna’s care. They clearly love animals and bonded quickly with Luna and gave her all the love and care our old gal needs. Maria and Gabriel sent clear messages to share their care steps as a checklist and lots of adorable photos. We felt such relief to know they were carefully checking on Luna daily and were thorough about how she was doing with detailed observations so we could adjust her care plan if needed. We had a FaceTime call to “meet” each other before they cared for Luna and that was super wonderful too. Maria & Gabriel were great with our boy! Otis was immediately comfortable with Maria at drop-off. Maria & Gabriel are friendly, personable and very communicative. Most importantly Otis was chill & happy. They give regular updates & pics! Highly recommended!
Maria and Gabriel were so amazing in looking after our dog! They sent lots of photos, took him on fun outings and gave us great communication throughout. I would definitely use them again!

Schedule
We both work on a flexible hybrid schedule, so it’s easy for us to accommodate requests between the two of us. When your pet is with us at home, they’ll never be left alone.

Safety, trust & environment
We live on the 3rd floor with a spacious, fenced patio for your dog to play and enjoy fresh air. Plus, we’re close to the SeaWall for the longer walks/runs
A typical day
Go for a run, walk around the neighborhood, explore parks, play games, and, during the summer, take trips or walks to the beach. If desired, on warmer days, we can potentially go for short, on-leash hikes, if approved by the owner
