They're all good dogs.
Hi! My name's Maria and I loveloveloooove dogs. All dogs. Dogs of all kinds. They're the absolute best. My earliest childhood memory is of my dad bringing a puppy home when I was about 2 years old. It was so fantastic that it brought my consciousness online. Basil lived all the way up to 20 years old and growing up, my family always kept dogs so I'm used to them being around. A house just doesn't feel like a home without one. In March this year my sweet boy, Dexter, had to be put to sleep. You can see him in my profile pictures, he was such a good boy (they're all good boys). There's a bit of a void now I don't have him around and it'd be lovely to take care of dogs again. As a dog lover I know how precious they are and I promise you I will treat them as my own, while they stay with me they'll be part of the family. As well as 30 years of experience being around dogs on a pretty much daily basis, I'm in the process of studying canine psychology so that I can offer training as part of my services. All dogs are different and many of them have 'quirks' that can make caring for them a little more complicated, I'd love to help with that side of things especially. I offer complete one-on-one care. Whilst with me, your dog will have my undivided company and attention. I offer a more focused service because it's better for certain dogs, particularly those who aren't used to being around multiple animals or who are perhaps just a bit needier and want more attention. This allows me to give 100% to the dogs I care for. I work from home as an artist (pet portraits mainly) so my schedule is very flexible and I'm always present to keep an eye on everything and keep them company. They won't be left unattended at any point really and I can accomodate most requests. There's a small, securely fenced garden at the back that I have access to, but there's also lots of green spaces pretty much on my doorstep. Since I'm working at home I can pop out multiple times whenever needed to let them do their business and have a sniff around - so the small garden is no bother at all. I can drive and I'm happy to have dogs in my car, so we can also drive out to explore some nice countryside walks. I'll send you regular updates and pictures so you know how they're doing and can have peace of mind.

Biscuit had a fantastic time with Maria! We got sent lots of pics and she looked absolutely delighted on her walk, before being spoiled with a puppicino and lots of cuddles on the couch. It was out first time using Rover and Maria was an absolute dream, put us at ease right away and made everything so easy. Can't recommend enough!
Maria was extremely friendly and the dogs settled well with her. She kept me updated with photos and videos which put my mind at rest. Excellent service.
Maria did an excellent job house sitting for us, and all our pets. Nothing phased her and communication was excellent.
Maria is the greatest dog sitter I've ever had. She gives amazing belly rubs and likes to sit on the floor with me. I do not understand why she is not always looking after me. I would like to trade in my humans - they are house trained, give good pets and take me on nice walks but just aren't Maria. All my doggy friends should have an Aunt Maria. Woof (in case you didn't get this was from a dog's point of view)
Maria has looked after my boys on a few occasions and they absolutely love her! Riley can be a bit nervous but on first meeting Maria did a great job of putting him at ease and I think he looks forward to us going away now so he can spend more time with Maria. 10/10 actively recommend to random people I meet whilst walking my dogs
Maria is the most caring person with a lovely warm personality, she put me at ease when leaving Daisy as she sent me daily pictures and videos. She gave Daisy the one on one attention and care that she needs with long walks and puppachinos! She is great at communication which made leaving Daisy for the first time easier, as I knew she was only a message away! Daisy absolutely loves Maria, jumps straight in the car when she turns up and cries at the window for Maria when she gets dropped off! Couldn’t ask for a better dog sitter, Maria goes above and beyond! Daisy can’t wait for her next walk/stay!

Une journée type
I love walking so as well as being able to pop them out regularly I'd like to take them on a couple of longer walks through the day. I usually walk around 10 miles or so, but depending on your dog's needs I can be totally flexible. I appreciate some older dogs (and puppies) can't walk that far. I'm very experienced with dogs and I'm good at reading their needs, whether that be intense play or cuddles and naps.
